The GT Passat is still very much a concept car. Unless the R-Line Passat sells well this year, I wouldn't expect an actual release.

@@ronaldboykin9755 It kicks in, during these three scenarios either adaptive cruise control, front assist and rear traffic alert. Adaptive Cruise Control allows you to maintain a preset distance from the vehicle in front of you. When the system is on, the Jetta will speed up and slow down just as the car in front of you does. This way you always maintain a safe distance from the car in front of you. Front Assist The Forward Collision Warning will alert you if it thinks a forward crash is going to happen. The Autonomous Emergency Braking will kick in and brake the car for you to help avoid a collision. And lastly, Rear Traffic Alert When you are backing up the sensors on the Jetta will alert you to a vehicle crossing your path while you are in reverse. If needed, the car can even safely brake for you to avoid a collision. Hope this helps.
