Geometry nodes is really powerfull, but its one side of 3d art I will never understand. too much voodoo magic for me but its great seeing all the stuff being produced with it!

The results are pretty amazing. Unlike Freestyle this generates actual lines in 3D space around the object so can be viewed live in full 3D all the way around in the viewport. But I find the way of installing and applying this modifier to be rather bizarre. You created a plane and then apply the modifier to that. But then you're actually applying it to other objects and so the plane is superfluous. What the what? I think if you're going to charge money for this you need to make it a much more straightforward add-on. As in: select objects, activate lineart, adjust lines.

greasepencil's is much slower to process when moving the camera or moving objects in general that are affected by the line art. This doesn't have that problem, it looks like it can work real time which makes it much easier to iterate on. Though I can see that the gp line art is much more accurate compared to this geonode setup, so I guess theres a trade off for that speed
