Brand New Dhaka Metro Rail 2023!
We are riding the brand New Dhaka Metro from Agargao to Uttora Uttor and returning to Agargao. This is the best thing that happened to Dhaka residents and the city's Mass Transit solutions. I saw it with my OWN eyes, the happy people riding without purpose. I will explain the areas, places, and many more in this video.

প্রথমেই বলে রাখি বাংলাদেশের পরিস্থিতির জন্য double deck মেট্রো / ট্রেন এর বিকল্প নাই। ঢাকা মেট্রো রেলকে যদি লাভজনক করতে হয় তবে যাত্রীর পরিমান বাড়াতে হবে। যাত্রীর পরিমান কি ভাবে বাড়াবে ? যাত্রীরা কেন গণপরিবহনের জন্য মেট্রো-রেলকেই বেছে নেবে ? ঢাকাবাসীদেরকে যথেস্ট কারণ দিতে হবে যেন তারা মেট্রো-রেলকে primary transport হিসেবে বেছে নেয়। সেই কারণ গুলো কি কি ? যে সমস্ত amenities মানুষের জীবনের সঙ্গে অতোপ্রতো ভাবে জড়িত সেই সব কিছু মেট্রো-রেল এর নিকটতম হতে হবে। যেমন ধরেন , shopping mall , Cinema, restaurants , passport office , বিদ্যুৎ , WASA , GAS অফিস etc . metro station গুলোর বিশেষ কিছু station কে যদি টার্গেট করে সেই স্টেশন গুলিকে ১৪ / ১৫ তলা বিল্ডিং করে প্রধম তিন (৩) তলা পর্যন্ত metro rail এর জন্য বরাদ্ধ করে বাকি ১০ / ১১ টা ফ্লোর যদি বাণিজ্যিক অফিস বা শপিং সেন্টার করে ভাড়া দিতো তবে কোটি কোটি টাকা মুনাফা আসতো এই সব ব্যাবসা থেকে। এবং জনগণ বিপুল পরিমানে লাভবান হতো মেট্রোর ভিতরে তাদের প্রয়োজনীয় সার্ভিস পাওয়ার কারণে। এই সমস্ত সার্ভিস এর জন্য মানুষ মেট্রোকে priority দিতো। উত্তরার বাইরে ৫৯ একর { One Acre = 3 বিঘা }জায়গা নিয়ে তৈরী এই বিশাল মেট্রো রেল ডিপো। বাংলাদেশ সরকার একবারো ভাবলো না জে এই বিশাল ৫৯ একর জায়গাকে মেট্রো রেল এর ডিপো বানিয়ে আর কি-কি সুবিধা পাওয়া যায় ? একই সঙ্গে এই ৫৯ একর জায়গা তে আমরা আর কি তৈরী করতে পারি? ৫৯ একর অথবা ১৭৭ বিঘা জমিতে at least ৫০ টা ১৫ তলা building তৈরী করা যায়। Bangladesh is running out of space, whether it's residential or commercial purpose. We must think about multiple projects for a single investment. Metro Rail Depot ওপর তৈরী করা উচিত ছিল high rise buildings এবং building এর নিচের ফ্লোর টা হবে মেট্রো রেল ডিপো। ওপরের floors গুলো হবে বিভিন্ন সরকারি অফিস। এই metro rail এর depot ওপরে যদি সব সরকারী অফিস গুলো ইস্থাপন করা হয় তবে জনগণ একটা অতিরিক্ত সুবিধা পেতো। এই সুবিধা টা অনেকটা one-stop shopping এর মতন হতো। যে কোনো সরকারি কাজের লেনদেনের জন্য ( Head office of Biman, Head office of BRTC, Head office of Metro Rail, Head office of telephone, National ID card office, Head office of driving license, Passport office, Dhaka school board office, Import export license office, Legal Aid office if there's one, Electricity, Gas bill related issue etc) last stop এ এলেই হতো। এমন কি এই মেট্রো রিলেটেড যত অফিস আছে সবগুলো অফিস এখানেই করতে পারতো, মেট্রো ডিপোর উপরেই। বিভিন্ন সরকারি অফিস খোঁজার জন্য বিভিন্ন এলাকাতে দৌড়াতে হতো না। মেট্রো থেকে আপনি বের হয়েই দেখবেন বড় map এবং সেই map এ clearly আঁকা থাকবে কোন দিকে গেলে gas office , কোন দিকে বিদ্যুৎ office এগুলো সব পরিষ্কার arrow signs দিয়ে উল্লেখ করা থাকবে। সেকানে public library ও থাকবে। আরো থাকবে সরকারি bank গুলোর head office গুলো। এই ৫৯ একর জায়গাতে কত বড়ো বা কত গুলো buildings তৈরী করা যাবে এক বার ভেবে দেখুন। এই ৫৯ একর জায়গা যে নষ্ট করলো এটা সারা জীবনের জন্য নষ্ট করলো। কারণ এটা undo করে আবার নতুন করে করা সম্ভব না। সরকারের plan constructive না, সব কিসুতে planning এ ভুল যার করণে কিসু দিন পর আবার নতুন করে সংস্করণের পদক্ষেপ নিতে হয়। একই কাজ বাড়ে বাড়ে করতে হয় ভুল চিন্তা-ভাবনা এবং lack of education এর কারণে। Bangladesh needs a leader who has civic sense, who's educated and has the ability to think constructively. নয়তো কোনো দিন দেশের কোনো সমস্যার সমাধান হবে না। সরকার জগগনের টাকা নষ্ট করছে বাড়ে বাড়ে ভুল প্ল্যানিং এবং ভুল decision নিয়ে। THE BANGLADESH WE'VE CREATED TODAY IS THE RESULT OF OUR THINKING, WE CAN NOT CHANGE THIS COUNTRY WITHOUT CHANGING OUR THINKING. প্রকাশ DEC 30, 2022

If u read between the lines, the Kandahar plane hijac during PM Vajpayee's time was a subtle message to have strong ties with Pak as Kandahar refers to Karamath Sheikh who worked abroad in a courier company for many years - Arab country, n would visit us when Papa was alive, annually on his monthly holiday, getting gifts for us - so PA of company could b meaning Pakistan. That is what my IQ tells me.

It would've been nice if you made the video in Bengali. It felt like home. It's just like our Kolkata metro, but why do they take the card back? I have 2 pre-recharged cards, hence don't have to buy a ticket every time I travel, here we just punch and go.😊

Thanks for your opinion. I traveled to over 75 countries, and metro rail can go above and underground. We are so proud of what we have now, and it will help the residents of Dhaka City and the citizens of Bangladesh.
