If you want to listen more originals of Dimash's Unforgettable Day, written when he was 17. War and Peace, My Beauty, written when he was 19, also Be With Me. There are songs written for him like Screaming, Golden, also what Igor Krutoy composed for him Love of Tired Swans, Passione, Olympico, Know, I Miss You. Some folk songs he's made popular like Samaltau, Daididau. And Dimash named his fans Dears, not the fans. He says fans are the Dears because they are dear to him, like family and that's high praise. In reality Dimash did few covers, most of his covers were when he was in The Singer competition in China, if you go to his channel, most of the songs are composed especially for him and many are his own compositions, I like it a lot of Dimash's Kazakh songs. Dimash hat explizit darauf hingewiesen, dass das kein Musikvideo ist sondern ein Moodvideo. Also ohne großen Aufwand in der Produktion und quasi ohne Drehbuch einfach nur die eigene Stimmung nach außen tragen und zeigen. In Kombination mit den Lyrics glaube ich, dass er uns sagen wollte, dass er nur macht wozu er Lust hat und nicht was so manch einer von ihm erwartet. Er wird sich nicht verbiegen und auch wenn uns mal etwas nicht gefällt er deswegen kein schlechterer Sänger ist. Er hat sich nicht umsonst an keine Plattenfirma gebunden, damit er frei in seiner Kunst bleiben kann. Apropos du hast noch kein Musikvideo von ihm gesehen. Diese sind echte Meisterwerke wie Filme und nicht einfach so hingeklatschte Videos. Da wären z. B. Be with me oder Qairan Elim. Beide völlig verschieden, sowohl vom Video als auch der Musik her.

Yea Rosalie you've got the messages in this song. He's also saying, this MJ style and all, it's really an act and it's fun, and he loves to do it.. A clue also is how he appears a couple of times out of costume, almost hiding his face, like saying yes this is actually me! Yes quite a few fans think this style is beneath him, but he loves all kinds of music and WILL NOT be boxed in!

Thank you for your reaction!! 👍👍 Zhalyn,it is a song in the Kazakh language and its music was written by Kazakh composer Yedilzhan Gabbasov in co-authorship with Dimash Qudaibergen. The lyrics were written by Nurzhan Askhatuly, a talented poet and producer. Love is the theme of the song and it was chosen by Dimash and he explained what it should be. The poet shared the main thoughts that he wanted to express in the lyrics of the composition: “To change for someone else is tantamount to losing yourself. If you have changed yourself, you are no longer you. You turn away from your nature and become a completely different person. That’s why I think we should try to understand and accept anyone, no matter how different they are from us. That’s the main point of the song.” Yedilzhan shared that the inspiration for creating this composition came from his acquaintance with the performer: “I composed Zhalyn when I met with Dimash back in 2020. Having written the melody of the verse, I showed a fragment of the song to Dimash, and then he already composed the chorus to it. Thus, in our creative tandem this composition was born. I think all the listeners will like this work, and we will continue to give them a lot of high quality works”. I love Dimash whispery notes and that yodel and ethnic style of the chorus!!’ His versatility is never ending! By the way Dimash said this is not the official video, however it is great the atmosphere created by the neon lights, the beat and the segment of the traditional instrument , I think is a dombra. Kazakh is a Turkic language--so yes, it is related to Turkish. It also has elements of the Russian language, probably due to the history of Kazakhstan and Russia as neighbors. The mood (or lyrics) of this one reminds me very much of the message I get from Fly Away: "Do you really think you know me? Do you really think you know..? I’ll fly away to find my way. Set me free I want to fly away. Where nobody can control me. I’m looking for something more. I will fly away to find my way" I know Dimash is interested in breaking into the American/Western music scene, but he is determined to do it on his own terms. He has his own music production company, for example--he will not sign on with any producer here. And he has such a good message and a mission to share it with us. He's just released "The Story of One Sky". It is searing, heartbreaking and full of symbolism--and the meaning of the song is an important one for the world to hear today. I don't know that you will enjoy it, exactly--it isn't quite that kind of piece. But I'm pretty sure that you will find many parts of it to reflect on, and come away from it just a little bit changed.

Dear Rosalie. I think you are a mind reader. At least you can read my mind - I noticed that already in previous reactions. When Zhalyn first came out, I did exactly what Dimash is talking about. "Why this kind of a song? Why doesn't he show his beautiful soprano or his powerful tenor? Why does he have to do these MJ moves?" etc. Then I read the lyrics more carefully - he was talking directly to me! And I got the message 😬. I can like or dislike, but he's the one who makes the decisions about his life. Btw. Stranger is not a cover, but an original specially composed for Dimash by Igor Krutoy. Other originals by Krutoy are for instance Ave Maria and Olimpico (Ogni Pietra). There are also other composers who have written songs for Dimash. Dimash has written own songs as well, of which the ballad Unforgettable Day and the powerful War and Peace are perhaps the most popular ones.

wow I liked it very popish didnt expect it it almost reminds of BTS style very good for his voice and he isnt really showing everything he can do but kind of linear straight sounding without the acrobatics that his voice can do but it is still very good something fun for him so yeah I liked it thanks again for the daily ride fun as always. DQ IS KAZAKH MJ! He's singing in his native tongue, too! Listen to GIVE ME LOVE (has a Latino vibe to it but it's actually Kazakh!) and BE WITH ME (SOME RAP IN THIS ONE) and GIVE ME YOUR LOVE (more pop dance music) and FLY AWAY (dance music that was way up there for many weeks on International Billboard and may still be) . Those are all different and COOL! He has some others like GOLDEN (the music video and 2021 renditions are more rock sounds).

Love your genuine reaction, positive energy, as well as your interpretation of the message of the song! And yes, I agree, it’s relatable. I must admit that it took me a little while to like that song, but now I really love it lol… It grew on me for sure! Otherwise, just a clarification: “Stranger” is not a cover but Dimash’s original song which premiered in New Waves 2021 precisely (the video you reacted to). Igor Krutoy that you saw accompanying Dimash at the piano in the video is a famous Russian composer who wrote it especially for Dimash. Basically, whenever you see him perform with Dimash, it means that he’s the composer of the song he sings. Liked and subscribed of course! Cheers!

That little smile blows my mind and the rhythm makes my feet dance all by themselves. But like Fly Away, this dance song gets meaning through the lyrics. The icing on the cake is the sound of the dombra at the end... great. Zhalyn/ Flame, a dynamic song in the Kazakh language, was written by Kazakh composer Yedilzhan Gabbasov (co-author Dimash Qudaibergen). Yedilzhan wanted to create something Kazakh with a modern sound: “As a kid I listened to a lot of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and other quality music. This is often my main source of inspiration...“ ...you can hear it. The Poet Nurzhan Askhatuly shared what he wanted to express in the lyrics: “To change for someone else is tantamount to losing yourself. If you have changed yourself, you are no longer you. You turn away from your nature and become a completely different person. That’s why I think we should try to understand and accept anyone, no matter how different they are from us. I do have my favorite artists but I don't compare them with others. There are some artists I don't like but I don't bash them because other people love them. Why rsin on someone's parade? Dimash siempre tuvo claro lo que queria hacer y como quería hacerlo. Un ejemplo de ello es que no ertenee a ninguna disquera, no es posible encasillarlo en un genero musical especifico, tiene su propia compañia y la dirige junto a su padre, amigos y familiares, todos muy talentosos. Hay muchas canciones compuestas para el especificamente como Olimpico, Stranger, Ave Maria, Your Love, Be with me, Screaming, Across endless dimensions, donde su compositor, Pier Giuseppe Zaia cuenta como encontró al mejor cantante del mundo para grabar su canción: Zaia dijo de Dimash: "Él es un genio indiscutiblemente! En mi opinión es la voz más bella, y más que la más bella, la más particular que tenemos en este planeta en este momento. Dimash tiene un rango vocal increíble, de hecho cuando estaba buscando en internet con mis colaboradores: «la voz más bella del mundo», sale este chico y wow!. E inmediatamente llamo a mis manager, porque estamos acostumbrados a contactar a William Shatner, Depardieu y los grandes, y lo rastrearon en Kazajistán. De inmediato surgió una simpatía, nos divertimos confrontándonos musicalmente y Dimash aceptó cantar esta canción, que es la canción principal de la pelicula; Fly away que tambien hace referencia tanto en la letra como en la coreografia, al derecho de elegir caminos diferentes etc. Ha compuesto el mismo junto a otros compositores Unforgettable day, War and peace,The cronwn, Okay y más, quizan me equivoque en alguna, pero por ahi van los tiros
