Ikea has a 365 day return policy so you could honestly just return those chairs if you no longer want them and in regards to the discolored lantern, you can always spray paint it if it's just the color that bothers you but I would definitely move one of them to another area! The reason you're feeling cluttered is because the entire top surface of the bookcase is covered with knick knacks; move the smaller decor pieces (card, succulent, B&E candles, etc.) to the empty square shelves below. Group items in odd numbers (3 or 5) and with varying heights.

With the console I’d leave the black lantern where it is, move the pic to the center and the clock to the right, move the green plant to the far right and maybe leave the wax burner in the center. This would look more minimalistic. You could burn the B&E candles up, clean them and then use them as tea light holders 🙃

Hi Emily, yeah I think you definitely De-clutter that shelving space. Maybe leave the Clock and candles or a plant on top of the shelves 👍🏽. The Mirror and footstool are so beautiful 😍 😍. Great tour of your lounge, it is truly a cosy and calming space👌🏾👌🏾... Hi there, I really love your style & enjoy your videos. I would recommend to turn the sofa to open up the space when you enter the room. Then the space in the back with that Ikea board would feel like a joined space. Bc right now it feels kinda separated. Maybe then you could incorporate the black chairs. 🤗😘

I don't know if it is in budget but would could sell the ikea spare chairs and the kallax shelf and replace it with a side board with door some attractive doors to hide things that you want to store. I would also rotate the sofa so that the room can open up and it would face where your ikea kallax is currently. Then you could place the tv on top of the side board
