I own a 2017 3.0 T AWD and it's definitely making those numbers. Car makes smooth power. 100% sleeper.

People fail to realize this is 350whp, which means AT the wheels. With a 15% powerloss that's 411hp at the motor. But since it's awd, the loss is probably closer to 20%, which puts it at 437hp. These are some great numbers especially for 87 octane.

Only other dyno I've seen is from Livernois, and it made like 335 rwhp and 390 rwtq. It appears they are underrating the torque for sure. It's more like 450 and not 400. I jought bought a 2017 with the 3.0t and it's definitely strong considering that it's around 4300 lbs

Why not 93 octane? Lincoln manual says 400hp only with 93 or higher octane otherwise you will get 375hp or less. Why so cheap? Would be interesting to see results with proper fuel.

It was an older gentleman who daily drove the car and used 87 since it's the cheapest. He put it up on the dyno just for fun.

Would have been nice to see the graph but I can vouch these are fast😉

Is this the 3.0? They list it at 400hp, where'd the 50 disappear to? Is the 400hp only on 93 octane?
@440Racing4 жыл бұрын
The 400hp Lincoln lists is the output HP at the crank. The 50 that isnt there is the drivetrain loss as this was measured at the wheels. Being that the car was on 87 and not 93, still a great number for an AWD vehicle that probably has a higher output than Lincoln claimed. Hope that helps!

@@440Racing I thought so, no doubt that is a strong number regardless. Picking mine up this weekend. Had a ATS 2.0t that I thought was quick until I test drove this beast. Fantastic car, packed with tons of features. Definitely a sleeper.

I would love to have seen the dyno graph to see the HP and Torque curves. Peak HP only can be pointless. Thanks for the video though.

The rear wheel drive version MKZ is 350hp... the AWD black label pushes 400hp with 410fpt... with just a tune (no hardware added) pushing 500hp 2017 MKZ FTW and look up which block they use... special block too..

The 3.0T FWD makes 350 The AWD should be making 400

350?! Its supposed to be 400! Oh ok he didn't have premium gas in there!

@Kids These Days🤦♀️ Duh! Who goes around with a dyno attached to their car? Do you say what the manufacturer says the HP is, or do you go and make up numbers? Most people are not measuring HP at the crank! 😑
@lordmalice83682 жыл бұрын
@Kids These Days🤦♀️ I was wondering what gas he had in there. He said it was an old man's car. Now I know the difference when I put V Power in the car vs other grades. I have that same car but with AWD and the Front wheel version is at 350 HP, only the 3.0 AWD has 400 HP.
@lordmalice83682 жыл бұрын
@Kids These Days🤦♀️ I know exactly what you were talking about. And I know the difference, it's like a 15-20% power loss in some cars to the drivetrain. I'm thinking the man had a Front drive version. Never drove that one, but did drive the 2.0 and it's a night & day difference.
@lordmalice83682 жыл бұрын
@Kids These Days🤦♀️ Oh ok. It's been awhile since I seen the video. So I'm thinking yea it was his gas. I wouldn't know what the dyno numbers would be. I think the car needs a quicker transmission if you ask me. And made it rear biased.
@lordmalice83682 жыл бұрын
@Kids These Days🤦♀️ 🤔 hmm mine is a 6 speed. The Continentals have 7 speeds. Don't know why they kept everything the same besides that! I guess it's fine! It's not many cars that is stock that can takeoff like these cars! I have burnt everyone who tried me! Nothing up there like M5's yet, but I done a few scatpacks in, a Mustang, a Ram Hemi and a F150. And a few smaller cars! I be laughing my ass off the whole time! 🤣
