Awesome tractor Darren. At the top of your driveway dig a 2 foot x 2 foot deep trench across the drive and fill it with coarse gravel and direct all that melt off to the ditches on both sides .

With calcium loaded rear and front tires that little machine will be twice the tractor it is without loaded tires. Very nice purchase which you will wish you had purchased years ago. I've had my little 24 hp John Deere 855 hydrostatic for 33 years now and it is still going strong. Your New Holland looks nearly identical. Those little Yanmar 3 cylinder diesels are amazing.

I am loving the new tractor. I will look into getting my tires filled with liquid in the fall. I bought a box scraper with it and forks. I am going to be building a new garage this year and bringing in lots of fill to build up the area where the garage is going. We just have to get rid of this snow first.

Great feeling to get a new tractor. When the dealer delivered my Massey 1742 cab tractor, the driver got stuck at the far end of the driveway. Half mile driveway pretty bunged up with snow. Had to unload there and clear the road so he could leave. Put it to work before it even got to the yard. I'm to old to do without a cab, plus I ordered with a rear blower. Snow blowing without a cab is out of the question. From neighboring Sask.

Nice I looked at getting a cab for it. Where about are you in Saskatchewan

Nice yes it is very handy. I am planning on building up my driveway and building a new 30’ garage/workshop to store and work on the tractor.

Nice tractor Darren! That'll make work around the homestead easier. Did the dealer add liquid ballast to the tires? If not and you decide to, it's best to use window washer fluid or beet juice (Rim Guard) as they won't cause any corrosion of the rims and good for temps down to -35 C.
@DarrenCharron2 жыл бұрын
No no liquid in the tires. I have spent a few bucks on a box scraper and fork lift attachments. I will look into getting liquid in the tires in the fall. I did not know they use beet juice in the tires that’s cool! How is the weather out your way?
@photocontrol2 жыл бұрын
@@DarrenCharron The beat juice is pretty good stuff, it's non-corrosive, non-toxic, resists freezing to -35C and comparable weight to washer fluid and nasty calcium. The box scraper attached will add some rear ballast for sure when lifting heavier items with the front end loader. The weather has been pretty good here with a lot of sun for the past few days, it was up to 13 C for a high today.

You still like this tractor? I’m considering this one for my 4 acres. Needing to move dirt, dig post holes and maintain my road. Urs hydrostatic? Enough power?
@DarrenCharron11 ай бұрын
I love mine. It is hydrostatic and has plenty of power 😀
