Hello Saylors! Been a long time since I’ve been able to join you folks…but this was a GREAT one to catch up on. What a beautiful plane. I love the “scale like” flying. A truly unique aircraft. We’re in the planning process for moving back to southern Missouri. I’m hoping to have room available to put in a personal RC strip. We’ll also eventually have a guest cabin (Dome Home style) on the property. There will always be a standing invitation to the whole Saylor crew once it’s up and ready. God Bless you all…always.

Did the maiden on mine this morning. Flew twice on 3S 1800 batts and then one more flight on a 4S 2500. It flies relaxed and realistic on 3S. I set my voltage alarms to 3.5v and got 5-6 minute flights at moderate throttle. The 4S shifts the CG back a little and the plane (set up just like the manual says) can easily do inside and outside snaps at blender speeds. Landing with half flaps is sooo easy as long as a gusty wind doesn't throw you off. I just ordered 2x 4S 3500s. I'm going to enjoy this plane!

That's awesome! The flight simulator is fantastic if you can get it to work. I have really been enjoying the multiplayer function, flying at user created air fields. It's really cool for trying out new planes too, I already upgraded to the full version!

One of the Very Best Flying Machines in the E-flite Fleet !... but the color needs to be either Orange and white or Black and Yellow. The overall visibility and Checkering under the wing would really Pop Out with these colors !... IMO. :>)

This is an ideal plane for those with orientation worries or (like me) older eyes. The wide wing is easy to see and the checkerboard bottom makes it easy to see inverted/banked.

I went to Rider's Hobby shop in Grand Rapids last weekend but didn't buy a plane. I finally went to the dark side and purchased a Traxxas 1979 Bronco Ranger XLT. I did look at that plane and several others I put on my list. I finally joined the Traversecity RC chapter so I am in two groups now. I finally got to take off and land on a paved runway! @@TheRcSaylors I will definitely let you know how I'm progressing. Thanks for the confidence boost too! Flying the carbon cub in experienced only never bail myself out if I get in a little trouble I correct it. Actually I can't really fly good anymore in the restricted modes. It was great to learn on but I wanted off that as soon as possible . Want to learn without a crutch. Very rarely is wind ever calm in Western Pennsylvania so I'm getting used to 10 to 15 mph wonds. A calm day is a rare blessing here. Maybe once a week if we're lucky. The realflight simulator is a huge advantage for me too. I have around 90 hours on that too. Love your videos!

Wow, that's unusual for this plane to be nose heavy with a 2200. Grandpa Gary uses a 3200 firewall forward for :) smooth level flight, no trim needed. Great video Saylors. This plane is awesome. It's my next bird. AirHammer out!!

I fly my old commander on a 5000 pack and you really don't even notice the difference it's got such a big Wing area. Great flight times over 12 minutes. But 4S would be great.

Nate, that's how a tail dragger is supposed to take off. Tail up, run on the main gear, and then lift off.

Question...Awesome reviews. Every time I check out a plane. The first KZbin video on the list is you guys every time. You're awesome. Keep up the good work. I'm new to RC planes. But landing isn't easy. Screw the simulators. Is landing easier with bigger wheel planes? My smaller P51 Mustang just bounces off the littlest bump and nose dives every landing. Grass has been my friend. I see takeoffs are about the same with bigger planes. Always takes off to one side during the takeoff when your getting speed.

Lol, just take care of your batteries and use them properly. Airplane fuel is just as dangerous, if not more so than batteries. Proper storage and proper usage will keep you safe with both methods of fuel 👍😁😎⚓️

The dude went off to work with a couple of lipos on the charger, he got home in the afternoon and his whole shop was burnt to the ground, the whole enchilada. No bueno, never heard of a nitro fire like that?😲

Simply because it is their recommended battery. I also have four of this size battery, which makes it nice on the wallet. I believe this plane has room for a 5,000 and would provide really long flight times but might take some trimming or recentering of the CG 👍😁😎⚓️

Watched the entire video did you forget to mention about the reverse thrust ability with the new esc? or did you intentionally leave it out for some reason? As a review type of channel it’s important to mention every upgrade or detail about the product you are reviewing. After doing some research I found my answer and bought it from your link just an observation.
