Bulletpoint Mounting Solutions was kind enough to send this New Release system out for the 5th Gen 4Runners. Plain and simple, it is an extremely well built and sturdy accessory mount system that can hold so many things in place and with endless adjustments. @BulletpointMountingSolutions *Bulletpoint 5th Gen 4Runner System available here: www.bulletpointmountingsolutions.com/products/rubigrid-2010-2023-toyota-4runner-dash-mount-phone-device-holder-5th-gen-4runner?sca_ref=2671286.T9Dt0LvySN

Hey man, thanks for this video. I held off on the install for a while until I watched your video. You gave me the confidence to finally get around to getting it done. Posting my video of my install as well today on my channel. I just subscribed to your channel. Thanks

Today I installed this setup in my 2021 4Runner with the newer radio head unit and most every thing is the same. Although the heater controls came off with the side panels, not a big deal, and I was able to do the install without removing the vents. Your video overall was very helpful. Thank you.

Nice video. I installed mine earlier this week. Wish I would have seen this before doing the install.

How did you get it in so fast? They literally sent it out to me the day after the release and I installed it the day after I received it. How do you like it?
@mshawnlane2 жыл бұрын
@@AZOverland2017 I received an email that it was available and immediately ordered it. I really like it. The build quality and the mounts are amazing. I installed it in my 2022 4Runner. The install was not bad. It always makes me nervous drilling into my dash like that.

It looks very functional but it's really tall. Isn't it hard to see out the windshield? I like the slide rail better but can't seem to find it on their website any longer. I think they discontinued the slide rail. 67 design still sells it and it sits lower.

The "arms" are very adjustable. I have them angled low for daily driving so visibility isn't really impeded. If you put them too low, they can block the vents a little but that depends on the the size of your phone. My Pixel Pro happens to be on the bigger side.

Thanks useful and nicely done video. I installed mine this week and also added 4 USB ports so I didn't have to run cables... feed them off the clock power and ground. I appreciate the detailed steps, As a note I had to drill two additional holes for the USB power and ground.... and I didn't removed the vents (may have been easier but it wasn't too much of an issue). Wiring the usb ports was probably the hardest part for me.... 🙂
@AZOverland20172 жыл бұрын
Nice Job! I was hesitant to remove the vents at 1st, but once I figured out the clip locations it was easy. I might have to add some USB ports as well. Did you get them from Bulletpoint or somewhere else?

Do you know what length arms came with this kit and are you happy with that length?
@AZOverland2017 Жыл бұрын
I don't remember exactly but there were different lengths I received with my particular setup. Yes, each length has its place. I like a longer arm for my radio mount so I can get it closer to my reach and a shorter for my phone and camera mount. They have so many possible adjustments that my 2 shorter and 1 longer work very well for me.

How do you access the back to change the ball positions, add or remove ball joints?
@AZOverland20178 ай бұрын
Each ball mount has 1 or 2 thumb screws. You just loosen and adjust then retighten. There are so many angles and heights you can work with.

Looks more challenging than the Ram install but definitely simple enough. And long term probably more sturdy.
@AZOverland20172 жыл бұрын
Yeah, a bit more involved than the Ram. Took more time to set the cameras up than the actual install😁
