Brand New RiverRat MiniJet Jet Boat! PBR "Aquachigger"

Check out my new RiverRat Avenger Gen 2 jetboat. I took it out for its maiden voyage here on the Potomac and boy is it sweet. My friend David out in Ohio at RiverRat Jetboats did a fantastic job on this one. These are the famous Minijet Inc. jetboats from Canada. David is the U.S. distributor and manufacturer for them.
I told him I wanted one that looked like a Vietnam War-era PBR (Patrol Boat Riverine) and I was not disappointed. I just need to add a few bells and whistles to pretty it up. I don't think it's big enough for twin .50's but I do believe there is plenty of room for an M60. If I can't find one of those, I suppose a flag will do. "Never leave the boat".

That looks like fun. I had a friend who had a jet boat, but he had a 327cu V8 engine in it. He beat it to death. One time we were out impressing our old ladies and the motor caught fire and we had to jump out into the river while it burned itself out. We got towed back and that was the end of the jet boat. Lol...Good times

"Any ideas for flair?" Yes. You will want a ladder to make re-boarding the boat easier. I would also consider a couple of hook on the transom: One for the BC and tank and one for the weight belt. An area with a raised lip also for treasures.

I wish you were in NH just found a cave on my property here in NH. I still have gotten to explore it. Lots of cool stuff I have 24 acres with another 50 behind that I never explored this area in 20 years wish I did it sooner lots of cool finds metal detecting Old farm walls clearly an old road that you can actually see where they must have been pulling wagons down at a cut of grooves into it like the Oregon trail. Lol I'm not really the whole Cave thing but definitely a cool find maybe one day I'll get my head in there. Freezing cold air is coming out of it even on a 90° day so I have to only assume it's pretty darn deep or running water but I don't hear any. Now as I'm typing this I kind of wish I threw rocks in there like you do in your phone that will be for another day.

This one sounds like it's much quieter than that other screaming terror of a boat you had. Like the layout, good idea for getting in the back of the boat. Some suggestions. Automatic fire extinguisher in the engine compartment. A lithium battery and charger from the engine. Then get some bright LED flood and spot lights for working and to see when you get caught out late on your way back home. You can rig them so they could be unplugged and put away when not needed.

Hi Beau! I just found a very interesting YT channel, and one of the videos I thought you might be interested in going there and helping out to metal detect for artifacts to a family of serial killers in Cherryvale, KS. 1873...Have you ever heard of the "Bloody Benders"? The Bender family would kill and rob people traveling on the Osage Trail. A man named Bob Miller now owns the property where the Bender House was, and he's searching this land to find artifacts and bodies of the many victims that were not found. If you watch FACES OF THE FORGOTTEN, then, BLOODY BENDERS, you can see the story. There also was a movie made that's on YT, and books. Mr. Miller is asking for people to come and help search his property.

Nice setup dude. I know I know I’m being maybe to conservative here but food for though. Maybe, for those trips that require higher speeds consider 1. Life jacket/kill switch . 2. Helmet. At the least a life jacket dude. It’s a great boat…small and not a lot of weight to it which might make it vulnerable to spin outs and flips. Just saying.

We in France would need a license to pilot this kind of small boat and still I am not sure and certain that it would be authorized and homologable, yes here we are literally crumbling under the prohibitions of all kinds, soon will need a license to breathe at the limit and learn to breathe well LMFAO... So the question I ask myself is, do you need a special license to use them ?! P.S : Everything being prohibited or almost, that's why we are taxed as undisciplined people, because almost everyone circumvents the laws to do what they want in the absence of flexibility of the country in the matter. And all the advantages that my country offers, no longer really compensate for all the prohibitions that go with it, it even becomes quite boring to live here in the end. And if besides I had the choice of the country to live it would be yours the USA at least people are proud to be Americans, not like on our premises where it is rather mainly the opposite ; if you thought otherwise about us, you will be disappointed. The people who are the most proud and chauvinistic of being French mostly live abroad, which is quite paradoxical, it must be admitted.

Even with all of that sound deadening material under the lid it's still too noisy. Have you considered the suspender style personal flotation device? It wouldn't hurt to try and be prepared.

I want one of those really bad. No offense Chig. I'd hate to be a copycat, but one identical to yours. Probably a different color. Here in Missouri, we have the Gasconade river. It's very long, and very unpredictable, as far as being extremely curvy, super shallow in places, and hidden obstructions abound, so jet boats, or at least jet props, are a must. A little boat like that would probably take me anywhere I wanted to go on that river. Love it!

Nice boat but if you ever get on Tennessee River ask around about it before you take off wide open up at Eva campground you cant go straight across the Tennessee River to the Dupont plant cause theres a big sand bar thats in middle of the river you cant see it but the waters just ft deep.
