You should NOT use any oil based lube on the slide rack and pinion...in fact they do not require lube. using a lube causes dirt to stick causing excess wear on the gears. This has always been the case. I've been doing this since before there were slides and was a manufactures rep. Rubber seal lube is a great idea. Also WD40 is not really made as a lubricant... the WD stands for water dispersant

on our 2022 Jayco Pinnacle the crimp style fittings on the PEX line for the washer was leaking, the dealer that repaired it changed all those crimp style bands with compression fittings. One, those crimp style are a pain to remove and you need a special tool to install them, second another one always seem to leak after a few trips so we just had them replace them all - warranty covered it.

That's great. This will be the 2nd time we are getting the check valve replaced under warranty. Brinkley has been great to worth with on any warranty work!

Sadly you shouldn’t have to deal with these kinds of problems on a 100K plus RV …

@@LesbiFITAdventures One thing about RVs, is they will never disappoint on repairs and small issues. I mean traveling down the road with all the bumps etc, things get knocked loose etc...this is our 3rd 5th wheel. I will say the pre covid one we owned were less problematic..but that's a different conversation.
