Yea, people just need to have some respect. I can see how everyone was excited because it's a BN show and they love the band, but Jesse was saying some pretty personal things, a bit heartbreaking to hear an idol admit his faults like that, it was like this confession, sent shivers down my spine and just personally broke my heart. He owes us no apology or explanation. But if he wants to talk to his audience and explain himself, share a part of his life with us after being in this band for over a decade, and being an extremely private person, the floor should be his and as a fan, it should be respected and he should be heard.

Sarah Bunker I couldn't have put it better myself. It's not a typical concert where they are just catcalling the crowd for responses. It would be really hard to confess that stuff and connect with the crowd when they are yelling dumb stuff.

morgan12387 I don't think this is what it means. If you look at their discography in chronological order, there's a clear evolution in their music and also in Jesse's lyrics. Compare Your Favorite Weapon's lyrics with those of TDAGARIM, and with these ones... But... I see what you mean and I really, really wish that this isn't a goodbye..!

I've been breaking down the meaning to these lyrics and what message he says his fans out in the crowd at the end of the song. I am starting to see the connection that this song has a lot to do with his feel toward his fans that have been with him on his path in life / career. And hopes everyone can one day be healed and happy without brand new. I don't know... Just a thought
