Brand new tire and this happened kind of strange

I bought a TPMS for all my tires. It has saved a couple tires already. You might want to look into getting one yourself.

Well that is weird that both tires had the same type puncture in the same tread line too. Of course it gets a nearly new tire as well…😳

Yep and both were on the rear axle of the trailer but on opposite sides and one was an inside tire. Strange for sure

DID you find anything in the tires , bolt ? Scrap ?

No nothing but a hole

It probably was a cut bolt seal. It looks very similar in pattern to when I got a bolt seal in my drive tire about six months ago.

Do you think you backed over something

I don't think I backed up any where. Both tires were on the rear axle though, but the other was drivers side inner that happened 6-8 months ago.

I thought about that, but doesn't really add up no longer than I was stopped. It's odd because 9 times out of 10 whatever I run over is usually still in the tire. I did run over something years ago that left a big puncture wound in a drive tire that I never really figured out what was but I figured it might have been rebar from broken concrete at a truck stop I had stopped at, because it was good when I was at the truck stop and then it was flat 25 miles later when I got to the receiver.

@@LifeWithChase when you find out what’s happening, you are going to tell us. Ok ? You need a pressure sensor or something to monitor air pressure.

This is called zipper failure. In tha absence of external impact , this Usually due to the pressure is not well maintained for prolonged period, this created a kink on the body cord at tire sidewall zone. The kink eventually caused the steel cord to break, and one spreads to adjacent cord...... A smile shape zipper created

Yep, no pressure maintained when there's a hole in it 😂 doesn't take long to ruin it that way for sure.
