I have the SAE Makita impact socket set. The sockets work very well with tight tolerances on fasteners; no slop. However, the wobble extension supplied does crack when used with an impact gun. I used it on a Porter Cable impact fun and the chrome chipped and cracked. The sockets did not mushroom at the drive-end, so I considered that to be a plus.

Hey Tony! Great video! Where did you get those tin snips with the removable head? Or where would I go about getting those? They look super handy to have around!

At 2:59, it’s a tool box not a hardware box that is what I think with mine. It gives me more space.

Do you and most of your viewers work on cars? Any diesel , offshore...?
@TonyTheTechnician7 жыл бұрын
Mark Paul yes most of us are mechanics technicians or weekend warriors. I myself do not really work on big diesels. I work on some smaller diesels but mainly your everyday gasoline automobile
@markpaul78877 жыл бұрын
+TonyTheTechnician oh OK. In the past I worked on Aircraft briefly but didn't have my A&P license. I was supposed to be working at the same place as OJT but that part never happened. That might have actually been best. I did receive free schooling. And I am also a member of the S.E.P program through Snap-on. I encourage all techs to take advantage of the S.E.P program. Its financially worth it even if you have to pay for a semester if you want to buy Snap-on. Also the aviation industry is about to explode. Timing is perfect

Mark Paul ya the sep program is great. It will save you a lot of money!!!

Do you like the gearwrench non ratcheting wrenches? Thinking about getting the 44 pc
@TonyTheTechnician6 жыл бұрын
Johnny G thanks and yes I do. I like them as well. They have a nice anti slip feature in the open end and hold up well
@NaztyNapkinz6 жыл бұрын
bought the tekton set, instead of gearwrench non ratcheting. I think I made the right choice, I don't see how these tekton's can be beat with quality.
