Thanks for saying so, it's a real process to build a vehicle for each client and take a lot of time to get it just right.

Do you know if with a haymen reese hitch the next tyre size up from stock will still fit behind towbar?
@MORE4x4_au2 жыл бұрын
@phil davis yes this vehicle runs a 265/70R17 on 17x8 wheel and the spare fits in the original location with the towbar in place.
@kalidasa92172 жыл бұрын
This is awesome! just wonder upgrading the size of wheels from 265/65/17 to 265/70/17 does it effect the fuel consumption?
@MORE4x4_au2 жыл бұрын
Yes it does a little but it also corrects the speedo, which usually runs a little fast from factory

Heh mate. Would a dometic 75dz fit and still allow acceptable space to side for remaining camp gear? Or advise stick to 55 litre im family of 4. Where you located alo great setup.
@MORE4x4_au2 жыл бұрын
Hey Phil, Yes we can fit a 75 litre Dometic CFX 3 in the drawers. Can't comment on your camping gear as I don't know how much gear you take with you.

Hi mate Is the Snorkel 100% safe to drive when it heavy rain? No impact to the engine?
@MORE4x4_au2 жыл бұрын
Hi Toki, Yes it's 100% safe, the snorkel is designed to exit water from the back of the ram head. Any additional water can exit from the drain in the airbox.

What offset are you running on the 17x8's? Considering Outback Armour adjustable, what UCA's do you recommend for this lift?
@MORE4x4_au2 жыл бұрын
We use blackhawk. These were neg 10 offset

Hi. Did you have to add a diff drop kit and driveshaft spacer due to suspension upgrade and lift?
@MORE4x4_au2 жыл бұрын
Hi, no it doesn't need it with a nominal 40-50mm lift, it does however require a set of replacement upper control arms in the front to correct the wheel alignment.

Hi, how much weight did that add?
@MORE4x4_au2 жыл бұрын
Great question, we didn't weight this vehicle post upgrades however we did use (like always), high quailty lightweight equipment. My intuition is that it added around 200-250kg to the tare weight of the vehicle.

Do you know the final weight of the fortuner with all those mods added ?

Hi Steve, We didn't actually weigh it but when it comes back in, we'll do that for you.

Hows the 270 go with the tailgate up
@phildavis69052 жыл бұрын
Im keen to know that
@Hillzy_Eighty72 жыл бұрын
@@phildavis6905 from what ive read,you need to make custom brackets to bring it higher up Im just going to throw a Darche 180 on mine
@MORE4x4_au2 жыл бұрын
Great question, it does conflict with the tailgate but you can adust the height of the awning to clear by adding taller awning brackets to the roof rack.
