As a long-time Chicago resident, I was returning home from several business trips and O'Hare landing traffic was stacked-up. The pilot let us know and gave us a 15 minute tour of the Chicago downtown area quietly hovering/circling/gliding over Lake Michigan until he was given the clear-to-land.. One felt as if one was a bird circling over the Magnificent Mile and lake. A once in a lifetime experience (drink in hand and enjoying the view).

Not really a trick but there's a few things that helped 1. The cabin lights were completely off. If they are not off you have to cup your hand between the camera and the window to stop inside light from getting out 2.
