One of my favorite songs by Brand Nubian, absolutely! Had a chance to meet these humble brothers with the exception of Grand Puba 💯💯💯..... great reaction and can't wait for the next reaction 😎💪👍👊✌️ ........ .....

Nice. That first album is full of good songs.

Nice! Another classic joint. Sadat X was Derrick X @ this point. Grand Puba was more of a lighthearted type emcee. Lord Jamar and Sadat X were more into speaking about 5% teachings. It’s part of the reason for their break up after this album. They subsequently reunited later on. The difference in the styles was pretty stark on this album. It is a must listen imo.

Thanks for the memories. Derek X’s verse was one of my favorites to karaoke in my car in high school.

I literally just had a conversation with Lord Jamars brother about an hour ago, and now I see you reacting to Brand Nubian, and you even mentioned our home city of New Rochelle. Respect. I highly recommend Grand Puba - 'Who Can Get Busy'.

Thanks! I'll add it to my list. (Whenever I mention New Rochelle, I want to say "The Dick Van Dyke Show!" but I'm not sure how many people would know what I'm talking about.)

@@ABoomerReacts omg I can't believe you said that. When I was a kid watching The Dick Van Dyke Show reruns, I realized they lived in New Rochelle and I still bring that up any time someone mentions Dick Van Dyke. That just made my day. Thanks.

One of favorite HipHop groups and songs. I remember the early 90s house party days listening to this song… this is definitely a dance song. In the music video there’s a lot of dancing. ☮️

Grand Puba is probably one of the most naturally gifted emcees of all time. Effortlessly ear-grabbing every time. Tenderoni = dimepiece = fly honey.

I can't tell you how many times I've listened to this one over the years, and every time Lord Jamar's verse was always my favorite. BUT, I tell you what... I never really listened to Grand Puba's verse the way I did while following along with your reaction. He clearly killed it here. A super dope wordsmith for sure. "This is definitely going in my car..." I feel you! It's been in mine for decades.
