Hi, sorry for the late reply! Opt-in is essential for 10DLC texting, so yes, that would definitely be a red flag for DCAs. We actually speak to DCA Syniverse about opt-ins (and opt-outs!) in a webinar we just uploaded - feel free to check it out and let us know if you have questions.

This whole thing is horsecrap. You shouldn't need to build a website out before you get a fkn number. Also, for small businesses rebranding.. this whole process is an absolute nightmare. Quite possibly the WORST possibly imaginable way to try and stop spam.
