Even though I came here for background noise, what is hilarious is that my agency hired a software company to help us build some simple software to track clients and appointments for mental health counseling. We had to sit on these teams with like 8 software techs that were talking this foreign language and saying things like "Scrum" and "dev ops" and "sprint" and none of us knew what was going on! I just realized this is not fake but this is totally 100% these peoples jobs!

Upcoming book club on "Inspired" on August 7th. The book will be added to new hire onboarding doc. 2. Interview spreadsheet with customer contacts has been populated by Sales team. PMs to follow up promptly. 3. Engagement survey to be run monthly in Q3. Some team members did not receive the survey email - Jessica to resend. 4. Goal of at least 3 customer interviews per PM. Update the OKR issue if not done already. 3 weeks left in Q2 to hit the goal. 5. Category maturity page - review forecasts and update if needed. Charts make it easier to assess achievability. Team Updates: - Hired Gabe Weaver as 3rd Manage PM and Dov Hershkovitz for API monitoring - B2B worked with Christy and David to change language around customer results in the handbook 1-2-1-2 Kickoff Feedback: - Screenshots helped, but many issues did not have them yet as UX/frontend work is pending - Top track was more problem-focused, which is good. Some could improve further. - Ran over time due to number of speakers. Suggestions: group related items, be concise and use recorded video for technical deep dives. - Over 500k-1M views on KZbin. Consider revamping format before next kickoff to accommodate growing team. Create issue to evaluate alternatives. Other Topics: - James shared plans for a product discovery sprint in the Source Code group to solve performance issues. Will share learnings. - Christopher highlighted recent outages impacting customers. An infrastructure development board has been set up to prioritize related issues.
