?? He’s under contract and they offer 26mil and most probably will get 28mil 2x his salary. Offer from the 49ers. I am thinking he was thinking of accepting 28mil even though he’s asking is 30mil. That’s why he thinks they were close. But he changed his mind as soon after JJ signed. I bet they wanted to wait for JJs. You pretty much ignored the Team reason for offering that amount and cap. If the Team gets a cap these players should too. I don’t think it’s right that stupid decision by another team affects another big time. Again he will get paid 2x and it’s not even his time.

This is all on the front office and Paraag. They should've forecasted the market with the WR and got ahead of the market. Now they are paying for it. Should've offered a contract during the season.

There are three types of franchise tags: non-exclusive, exclusive, and transition: Non-exclusive tag The most common tag, which allows the player to sign an offer sheet with another team. The original team can either match the offer or receive two first-round draft picks if the player leaves. Exclusive tag Completely binds the player to the team, but costs more than the non-exclusive tag and prevents the player from negotiating with other teams. Transition tag Can only be used if the team doesn't use a franchise tag in most seasons, with some exceptions.

I dont dictate my value to my employer, my employer dictates my value because he signs my paycheck. I can argue my value but at the end of the day I don’t have a RIGHT to be paid more.

Aiyuks asking price most probably went up because of JJ and 49ers pretty much put what they can afford, almost double. In this business. The 26 mil is very very close to their wiggle room 28mil? Who gives their very last offer on the table? Aiyuk originally probably said 30mil but in his mind he probably was thinking i would accept 28mil very close to training camp. Thats why he thinks they are very close. But he still would like to know JJs, so now that JJs is crazy high he dugged on his heels on 30 mil or more. So him not signing yet is NOT ABOUT HIS FAMILY, that he stlll hasn’t accepted. And Aiyuk said everyone get signed except him, everyone gets paid and CMC is the highest RB. So he’s thinking of the market value that JJ created. If he changed his price that doesn’t have anything to do with him “thinking of supporting his family”.

If he gets tagged he will get -22mil a year for 3 years average. I think the 49ers pretty much wasnt in a hurry because technically they don’t need to do anything. They offered what is really close to their final price. Because again they hv all the options.

Expected this. if Aiyuk doesn’t compromise, he most probably play for 14mil. If he doesn’t play, he doesn’t get paid and no change in his play years. If he played bad, it’s not a good look for other teams as well. And 49ers won’t keep him on 5th yr. He wont stay in the Bay Area where he said his family is at. He really doesn’t hv any choice that’s why he’s doing a Deebo.

Receiver isn't a premium position. U think with the league being so pass happy that's that's wrong. But it's an easy position to replace. Niners drafted 2 more receivers this yr. It's not a position like LT, QB, Corner, Edge rusher etc...those positions are hard to replace. Once u have a good one u pay them but receiver can be replaced. Pearsall may be just as good if not better than Aiyuk. We'll see but that's my 2 cents

No, you can't get equal value for Aiyuk. There is no skill player that you can trade for that can equal Aiyuk's production with his low usage

Crocker it’s the 49ers he’s not the only good player there and it’s a team. He cannot get all the throws and the plays. If he wants those he needs to go to the Team where he can be focal point besides the QB. He’s lucky if he get to a Team with a good QB and decent team. Away from Bay Area where his family is at. They hv to relocate.
