Tragic and horrific. I'm absolutely heartbroken for his daughter. How many of these incidents have to happen! Seems like black victims of crime in America need to think twice about calling law enforcement to their aid as they run the risk of being shot and killed themselves. 😢

I read about this last night. It was a WOMAN he was wrestling the knife from (they said her name 'Alejandra') and that supposedly she may have been an ex-girlfriend. I think the officer may have assumed SHE was the victim. BTW, the article said he was shot 6 times when he was down already.

I don't know. It's very confusing. Apparently the charging docs use female pronouns but they are in a male jail. Maybe the person is trans or something. Also it looks like the person said they wanted to be killed suicide by cop and the charges have domestic violence in it which means that the deceased and perp were at one time in a relationship.

That’s false information put out by the media. They were not in a relationship. She was not an ex-girlfriend. She did not even know Branden for 2 weeks.The cop knew who Brandon was as that same cop was there the night before to have that person trespassed.

I am from the UK and these sorts of cases are why I don't want our police to carry guns. You can't train all police officers like you can a specially trained unit.
