We can all agree the ATF should be abolished. However, that might actually make it worse for the 2A until laws can be struck down. Brandon Herrerra is vying for Director of the ATF. Trump should do it. The ATF has never had a leader that is a pro-gun leader. It's time to change that and roll back their infringements.

@@realrev90 reason I personally think Jocko would be an all star pick for overhauling police training is listening to his podcasts where he talks about dealing with insurgents overseas, and how a major part of dealing with them is just community outreach. Most of the people in those communities just want to live life and they themselves want the insurgents gone. Jocko would talk about how they would just talk to the people, ask what the problems are, what they need, and help them. In turn they would help his team out with information. Another thing I think is really key is him talking about avoiding civilian casualties. For every civilian that’s caught in the crossfire, 10 more insurgents are born. This could not ring anymore true here in the states. Bad cops get “all” the publicity and one bad cop can turn a community against the police. I could go on but I already wrote a whole essay already. If you or anyone reading this haven’t already listened to him and you’re curious he talks about police training on JRE. Hes been on a few times and I don’t remember “exactly” which episode it is. Aside from that check out his channel if you haven’t already 👍 If you haven’t I’d definitely recommend checking out his read of Psychology of Military Incompetence first. That book rings true to just about “every” big organization, not just the military.

An easy thing to do: Approve all NFA requests immediately after the background check clears. (Background check takes mins). Basically tell the approvers to not waste a single second on reviewing their customer's paperwork, in fact, just set up the system to approve it once the background clears.

Mandate that state level gun laws outside of the NFA fall under state level jurisdiction. Meaning states like California and NJ can't have federal resources such as the ATF to help them enforce unconstitutional gun laws that they technically unlawfully passed.
