I love how many wide angle shots there are in this video where you see the back run around the defenders and take off, and you think it's Bradshaw, until you see #27, or you see the back slam into a defender and plow him over or knock him back and bulldoze through and you assume it's Jacobs, but it was Bradshaw. They both had amazing speed and power and agility, could turn screens into big gains, make the occasional catch downfield and were solid pass blockers. And the camaraderie on display whenever they would celebrate together a touchdown by one of them was one of the best parts of watching those Giants teams.
@rockhead2613 жыл бұрын
The most important element of this duo is on display 5 seconds in - these guys were best friends. Coaches will typically pit RB's against each other to draw the best out of them, but 44 and 27 were unique. They consistently rooted for each other despite their competitive nature. It wasn't unusual to see the guy on the sideline more excited about the play than the guy on the field. Great chemistry. Hope we get to see that again soon.

Shout out to John Smith for putting this video out. Good shit man!! If you’re not a Giant fan don’t watch. I’m sure it was hard enough thinking about those days we dominated in the NFC east. I just punched my steering wheel so hard, I thought the air bag was definitely hitting me in the face. I got so excited. Yeah, those are the NY Giants man... and if Burress didn’t shoot him self in the foot, we win back to back Superbowls being 11-1 at the time and another in 2011 under Tom Coughlin. Eli in his prime!!! Great video..... thanks !!!

I was at that game vs Baltimore and that Bradshaw run made the place erupt. We ran all over them that day. Could have been a special season but plax had to cap himself. Beat all four final four teams in the regular season. Had a real shot at back to back. People forget how good those Giants were. I’ll hear they were 10-6 and how did they beat the pats. After an 0-2 start in 2007 they went 24-5 I believe until plax shot himself
