It's a shame to see how empty the stands are. I know it's an Xfinity race. But I'm surprised there aren't more people. I went to all the races for the Coke 600 weekend, and the all 3 had decent crowds, same with Indianapolis.

last time I went to autoclub for the xfinity race they only had the middle of the grandstand seats open for tickets, the left and right side grandstands were closed and unavailable. Since its GA admission for most seats on saturday most fans tend to sit higher in the grandstands too.

Don't be a Karen, we all know the cars chassis nowadays is stronger enough to absorb collisions against hard barriers and in some cases even from other cars going in high speed, so any person with a functioning brain would know that this dude would be fine after he crashed onto some barrels full of a water.

Everyone saying about the stands being empty for an xfinity race, you need to realize the majority of casual fans only care about cup. It's the same as baseball, you might have a favorite major league team but you rarely care about their AAA affiliate, even if they're located nearby. You have to be a real big fan of the sport to wanna care about the feeder leagues. Don't get me wrong it's still sad to see empty seats, but you know when you attend one of these races, almost everyone there is a big racing fan and you just belong. Either that or I have no idea what I'm talking about lmao

Your right. Xfinity and Truck still draw decent TV figures but regarding actually paying to see them, only the real diehard fans do that. Same thing as you said with the MLB comparison. I would also point out that the places that ONLY have xfinity races get higher attendance because it’s the only thing there. Same thing with cities that ONLY have triple A or double A baseball teams.

The roll cage is a huge factor that protects the driver. They also have a device that goes around their neck. To help their head stay in place on heavy impacts. Then they also developed safer barriers around the wall to help take out some of the force on impact.

I'd much rather attend an Xfinity race than a Sunday Cup race. 500 miles of racket really grinds on you if you forgot your headphones; the lines for food are impossibly long, parking can be a bitch and it's a lot more expensive. There's little difference in the speed with the X cars and you'll still see your share of big-name drivers competing.

Flying is actually rareley a problem, its muxh worse, when a crash ebds sudenly. When you flip and Roll, the energy gets built down slowly, but if you just gave a dead stop at a wall, that really hurts.

Aside my wrongful though of airborne crash, this crash is quite of messy for little Jones completely destroyed the barrels that causing a lotta smokes. And based on some laughter reaction, i think it safe to say its no wonder why Brandon Jones didn't get a shot of Cup series as part-timer.
