32 on 12 shots is crazy efficient for this era of defense

This is as good of a game anyone can play. smothering defense, they change your defender twice, and you gave each of em BUCKETS. Brandon Roy was unstoppable.
@chrislacy19903 ай бұрын
At his peak, Brandon Roy was the Tim Duncan of shooting guards. He was the ultimate teammate and could do it all on the court. Brandon’s knees may have cut his career short, but his impact was undeniable.

Style of play was superior to todays game. Those passes and ball movement are way better than today.

Roy was the only player that Kobe couldnt stop. Roy was a beast. That '08-'09 blazers team was 🔥

He’s not the only player Kobe couldn’t stop 🤣 He couldn’t stop tmac Durant melo pierce arenas iverson, etc. Pretty much all the elite scoring players Kobe couldn’t stop lmao yal life in this mythical land where Kobe gave up nothing.. and did no wrong. I love Kobe.. but the top guys gave him buckets

kobe said Brandon Roy is the most difficult SG to guard and kobe is a very good defender (12 times -all defensive) in this video demonstrate how good Brandon Roy is and kobe acutally cant stop him

Slept on this one. He never came close to reaching his peak as he played through injuries and was still nice. 100 % healthy and who knows Kobe Lebron and Roy be the faces of the NBA
@theonlygoodonehere22592 жыл бұрын
I think roy would have had a ring or 2 if he stayed healthy fully, when injured he showed he can even drop 40, and play average defense

Is there a reason Phil Jackson was getting on Odom after the timeout? Seemed like standard defense on Roy but he hit the shot.
@theonlygoodonehere22592 жыл бұрын
thats the point back in the day you would get chewed up for standard defense like that, which is considered good in todays nba, not a very look

I miss PJ, dude is the best NBA coach imo
@armandogarcia10245 ай бұрын
He gave him way too much space. Basically gifted him a non contested midrange pull-up. I would think he wanted him closer to force him into a tougher shot or force him towards the help of Bynum. Bynum and Odom was a sick front court and got even sicker with gasol
