The actual budget for the film was only $19,000. We shot at Tim and Rita Hildebrandt's house, John Dod's house and my house. The backyard was a combination of my girlfriend's mother's house backyard and the Hildebrandts back yard. Just FYI ;-)

I know that this vid is 4 years old but here's you a fun fact: As you can see here "Terror of Mechagodzilla" has been called "Distruggete Kong! La Terra è in Pericolo" (Destroy Kong! The Earth is in Danger) in Italy because King Kong was way more popular than Godzilla in Italy, and this movie (just like Destroy All Monsters) came out after Guillermin's King Kong, that was a huge success here. In the movie they tried to give this title a meaning by changing Titanosaurus' name in Titano-Kong (because italians had no idea what "kong" really meant). And as you may know, that's just a small part of the italian "fake sequels tradition".

Wow, this video is 7 fkn years old! I wanted to get back to it after watching your latest "Attack of The Beast Creatures" review, as you mentioned it a couple times and I didn't feel like watching the whole flick to refresh my memory. I knew I was a fan of the "Spawn" creatures, but I didn't remember how fkn cool they were, it's the kind of B flick that proves how creativity and passion go way further than budget, as goddamnit those toothed phallic mutants (now that's a mothful) and overall FXs are really good, they're much better than many other that somehow managed to spend ten times as much with ten times "as less" results. If only contemporary Hollywood could learn from these little gems, the industry could be salvaged from itself and the CGI cringe-fest it has become, nevermind the thin plots and 🌈 messages, one thing at a time I guess.. Well, that's all for now, till next time.. 👍🏻🖤🏴☠️
