I still wear Emericas. "This is Skateboarding." Golden age of skatevideos right there. I used to watch that shit everyday then go fuck shit up with my friends. Those were the best days of my life for sure. Nothing comes close to making me feel as good as I did when I was a decent skateboarder. If there are any kids out there reading this, remember that. Skating with your friends all day and night during a day in the summer is the best your life is going be. So live it up. Edit: thanks for the love. One thing I'll add is that for some reason in certain urban areas in America drugs and skating go together. Be careful of this. Of my 5 or 6 old skate buddies, two are dead and the rest of us are recovering heroin addicts. If you find yourself only having fun when you're fucked up, and just skating with your friends isnt good enough to have an amazing day, then you're fucking up my friend. Drugs are a time capsule. Before you know it you've gone from being a free loving skate kid, to a 30 to 40 year old burn out, in the blink of an eye almost. I've seen it too many times. So live it up, but take care of yourself at the same time. Peace.
