It's still sad to see non core skate brands in the skate shoe market but New Balance is the lesser evil than Nike SB and Adidas. I'm just glad Puma and Under Armour haven't tried muscling in too. I just hope the remaining skate shoe brands that only make skate shoes and apparel don't fade away or get driven out of business by these non skate brands

I dont wear skate shoes to skate. I always get old navy all white sneakers for $25 or whatever is on sale. No point to buy $85 Josh Kalis pro model and destroy them within a month.

On ebay you can score technically used yet virtually new (and not skated) shoes for $25 shipped. I got Nike Blazers, Nike Heritage SB and Koston 2's for $25 a pop this month alone. Not a bad way to go, just another option. Peace ✌️
