Saw the gold in the store today. Was amazingly surprised... it looks incredibly classy and beautiful, much more than the deep blue in 12 which did not impress me. We have to see them live to decide. A lot is missing about the overall looks on videos.

I have the blue 12 pro in my hand right now, although it is gorgeous! I’m swapping it for the gold. Wish the back was also gold but overall the gold does go with more case color options so big factor in why I’m switching plus it’s absolutely stunning! The special coating is actually only on the frame of the gold - it makes it shinier, more scratch resistant, and easier to wipe off fingerprints compared to the other Pro colors' frames. That's what Apple said at least.

@@Misscutieful1 About the Max. And it’s not true. I got my gold one and it’s not too big. The idea that experienced you tubers think the Max is too big is shameful. Because the 12pro Max of just a tiny bit larger than the 8+ and I would have expected them to know that.

@@Misscutieful1 Yvw. I love big phones. I love my 8+. So the size for you won’t be a problem. Be aware that the 12 Max does have some heft to it. It is heavier than the 8+. I don’t mind as I am getting used to it. I bought gold which is gorgeous. I’m very happy with that choice. The phone is a gorgeous piece of tech.

I preordered GOLD 256GB 12 proMax, can’t wait to receive on 13th, , i’ve seen all the colors beforehand. In my own opinion; safest and more professional color to get is graphite, if you want simple and neat looking go for silver, if you want people’s attention get the pacific blue but if you want it all, take the GOLD that OUTSTAND among all. Every piece is beautiful, but i do feel that GOLD is the winner!❤️

Fewer people will buy the charger as most iPhone users already have chargers at home, which means fewer chargers ending up in landfills down the road. Thinner iPhone boxes means apple can transport more iPhones in one trip which means fewer trips and less fossil fuel burned.

The "special coating" is not on the rear glass, its about the gold stainless steel frame. Apple uses common PVD to achieve graphite and blue color. But for gold they use a far more advanced tech called HiPIMS. The gold color frame is more shining, more durable and robust to scratches than other colors.
