English Fried bread is best eaten in my opinion, having the chopped tomatoes applied on top, and eaten knife/fork, with various toppings of your choice, as opposed to being treated like toast. I personally like it with runny egg yolk over the tomatoes, with sausage. Next time you have Fried bread, give it a go, and let us know
