Look back in silence The cradle of your whole life There in the distance Losing its greatest pride Nothing is easy, nothing is sacred, why? Where did the bow break? It happened before your time And there were people there Lovely as you'd ever care Tonight, baby, you can start again Laughing in the open air Have yourself another dream Tonight, baby, we can start again Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows, on your own Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows, on your own Mother, it's cold here Father, thy will be done Thunder and lightning are crashing down They got me on the run Direct me to the sun Redemption, keep my covers clean tonight Baby, we can start again Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows, on your own Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows, on your own And the sun will shine again And the sun will shine again Are you looking for a sign? Or are you caught up in the lie? Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows, on your own Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows, on your own

Just had a critique on a song which included the following words..a simple recording by URBAN SEASCAPE called THE CHILD was handed the following words plus many more by a top critic(in disguise) "THIS SONG IS A WINNER..."the child, that once..was me"...COMPELLING. This song is far, FAR better than the fluff offered by radio and commercial music hawkers. Chalk this one up to win column Sonic Foxx UK" Look out for the whole critique by John LeStrada. Of course Joe Public may say it better with a comment left behind on THE CHILD.... "HOLY SH*T....i think i just found REAL MUSIC".

It doesn't need naked women and dirty words in the lyrics to attract people's attention like most of songs today. Spectacular song and very beautiful video. Song for the soul.

There were go go dancers and suggestive lyrics even in the 60s. The Killers are from Vegas they don't hate on showgirls and naked ladies Brandon just likes different costumes and artsy videos sometimes.

The purpose of that dance, is an older style of dance that people in renown clubs use to do in the 1950's, this performance is so high that it super cedes a lot of us that lived in the 80's and 90's but it's so vibrant and beautiful we're still attracted to it. This is true talent for sure. But yes the dance is kind of different, haha.

I had triple bypass open heart surgery two months ago and though I loved this song before hand I struggle to listen to it now as I guess "the young" to me now feels more poignant since I got "old man's disease" with my heart disease when I'm only 40. There's actually so many lyrics I relate to now, it all takes me back to the hospital (and apparently post traumatic stress is a big thing with cardiac surgery which explains why I broke into a sweat and was in the toilets madly moping my chest and back down with toilet paper when I had to go back to the hospital to see my cardiac surgeon two weeks ago). Maybe I'm just creating my own meaning in my head, but the mirror ball did make it feel even more poignant since I'd said on facebook my biggest goal post surgery was to dance again.

My hubby's name is Cade. He is 42 and has a chronic illness. He can't listen to this song...he used to be a ball of endless energy and a body builder. He got very sick about 6 years ago and the docs still don't fully know how to help them (and I think some docs frankly don't care). Anyhow, I wish you all the best on your journey back to health.

Look back in silence The cradle of your whole life There in the distance Losing its greatest pride Nothing is easy, nothing is sacred Why? Where did the vow break? It happened before your time And there were people there Lovely as you'd ever care, tonight Baby, you can start again Laughing in the open air Have yourself another dream, tonight Maybe we can start again Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows on your own, oh Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows on your own, oh Mother, it's cold here, father, thy will be done Thunder and lightning are crashing down They got me on the run, direct me to the sun Redemption keeps my covers clean, tonight Maybe we can start again Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows on your own, oh Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows on your own, oh And the sun will shine again And the sun will shine again Are you looking for the sign? Are you confident? Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows on your own, oh Only the young can break away, break away Lost when the wind blows on your own, oh Only the young can Lost when the wind blows Only the young can Lost when the wind blows Are you confident?
