you have a voice quality that seems to relate to Bob Ross from PBS - The Joy of Painting. "Maybe a crappie bush lives over here.. Maybe a crappie dock over there. ok.. lets clean our lure and go with a chartreuse and midnight black color next '. It's rather stress free and calm fishing viewing.

Like a much less high and wildly more redneck version of Bob Ross. I like it.

Best dock side imaging demo ever followed by convincing advantages of having forward looking sonar when fish are on the move. Your personable, calming delivery style is a strong attribute.

Hey Brandon, I'm a new subscriber. Followed you some on bassmasters but I'm wanting to try to get into crappie fishing. I don't have a boat right now so will have to fish from the bank. What setup would you suggest fishing around bridge columns from the bank this time of year?
@BrandonLesterFishing2 жыл бұрын
I would have two different setups for a bank fishing situation like that. First I would rig a live minnow on a slip bobber rig and set it at the depth I expect the fish to be at and cast it out. While you waiting for one to bite the minnow cast a jig around and see what happens. Be sure and pay attention to how deep you are getting your bites, that will be the key. Thanks for watching and good luck!

Thank you, Brandon! I love watching your videos, always learning from you. Question: how does releasing a fish affect the school? Does it shut down the bite eventually? Is that why you change locations? Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Mr Lester, can you tell me a good place to put in at lake Grenada?
@BrandonLesterFishing2 жыл бұрын
I can’t help u there I’ve never been to Grenada. It’s on my list of places to go though!
@BIGplanetLife Жыл бұрын
@marcusfuller7464 - I live in Grenada. Where you put in, depends on where you want to fish on the lake and what level the lake is at during your trip. Some ramps are out of water at lower levels. The Grenada Landing (main) boat ramp is accessible 99.9% of the time. It is accessible as long as lake level is 191.0 or more. Wolf Creek ramp is accessible with lake level at 191.0 or more Hugh White State Park ramp is accessible with lake level at 193.0 or more

I noticed you like the loop knot. Are you against using a swivel?
@BrandonLesterFishing2 жыл бұрын
I’m not a fan of using a swivel. It takes away from the action of your bait and just looks very unnatural to the fish I believe.

1st 😁👌 I do have a question, you did get me to start using Vicious 4 lb test and I used your method of spooling it up which has been great. My question is when it does get twisted up do you cut everything off and troll it behind the boat to get the twist out or do you just respool it with new line?
@BrandonLesterFishing2 жыл бұрын
I don’t ever have a problem with it getting twisted but yes you can troll it behind the boat and get it out. I usually change mine every 3-4 trips. I just like to keep my line fresh.
