Tip: since a lot of doors you knock on won't open, leave a flyer of some sort, even better leave a letter to the seller explaining why you were at their door so you can maximize your time instead of just moving onto the next door without leaving anything. I've gotten listings from letters to sellers on doors that didn't answer! It really means you can increase your exposure with having the same amount of time invested

How would that strategy work in today's market? This interview was when you could get a 3.5% interest rate on your loan. I feel with the interest rate climbing to 6+% changes everything. Buyers are expecting a seller credit and on top of that for the clients that he's door knocking would have to buy their new primary residence at the 6% which would heavily increase their monthly expenses. Basically what I'm asking is how have you pivot in today's market, would door knocking work currently with today's interest rates and what are you doing to get more sales? Thank you!

David, I'm a brand new agent and I'm interested in what you mentioned in your comment. Can you share more?

@@Ani-gb6mm essentially what I wrote. I feel agents should also learn to be a lender as well. You have control of the process of your buyers loan and the loan closing at all and on time and your realtor commission is not left up to a lender you may not know or have worked with. You can also make money on securing your buyers loan, could be 5 to 10 grand or more 👍. And if you know how to secure a borrower a home loan as well as help them find and negotiate the home and price, this raises your knowledge above other agents and most officer managers 😐, you can be a one stop shop, and! you make a commission securing the loan as well making you a more knowledgeable agent while the real estate industry is dumbing itself down (i.e Zillow and the like, online leads, teams) 👍 it's a win win for you and your buyers, make sense? Anything else just ask 🙂

@@Ltlbrthr12 Thanks for your reply! So you mean that agents should get a license for being a mortgage lender as well?
@Ltlbrthr122 жыл бұрын
@@Ani-gb6mm Yes! I would, for all the reasons I mentioned. You don't have to do it right away. Do a few real estate deals to get the feel of an escrow then talk to a local lender you know to learn to do loans as well. Good things!

Great stuff here! although if Cameron's objective is to List initially, why did he mention he puts more emphasis on taking them out looking to buy ( 9 min mark)
@jameslaing2 жыл бұрын
He answered that by saying a prospect who is ready to buy is VERY motivated to sell.

My intention is actually to help them buy so the listing comes more naturally!

How big is your neighborhood to knock 6 hours a day? That would be the whole city in a few weeks?

So what is the best script? Didn't really nail down what to say. I mean I could just knock on the door and say "hey are looking to buying or sell RE"? Thanks bye.
