Drumming for the World's Most Travelled Band

20+ years ago I was very lucky enough to drum in some overseas party bands with residencies in China, India and Dubai - playing 6 nights a week. Not on the same scale as Brandon but still super cool. My advice to any drummers who get offered the chance to play in a party band overseas is to GO FOR IT. You will improve out of sight and gain experience you just can't buy. The life experience you'll gain from living overseas and meeting different people is invaluable. It changed my life.

I just joined a cover band that plays a gig or 2 every weekend in the area I live in and I have already improved so much just from this past month with them! I am currently working on my stage presence more than anything now!

So I was at an event to play, and for some reason, there was no drum pedal, remembering this video, I played the floor tom with my right hand as the bass drum, played cross-stick on the snare, and used my left foot to play the hi - hat. Thank you for helping me be creative Brandon 🙌🙌
