I LOVE that you included the call with ZackGrooves here. It's amazing how often the core of a complex groove is actually pretty simple, and it really helped hearing where Zack was coming from in describing it's roots. ... Also you're playing was cleaner than you gave yourself credit for on a couple of those ❤️

Love this “what to practise” series Brandon! I’m constantly in practise mode myself, and there is something comforting in watching another drummer struggle, swear and sweat to learn something. Your videos also always look and sound good to me. I agree that some of Zacks grooves are nasty.

This reminds of when we ha D to play whiplash in a school concert I was not chosen to play it because I was a rock drummer but I work hard and played it everyday and pulled it out on rehearsal day everyone was like where that come from never give up

Him getting the insane speeds. The PUSH PULL technique was highly needed to learn and he usually switches it to regular double wrist stroke motion (or rather moeller) while the other does the P-P technique. It's a complete mix of the 2. I'll give this a go as well he just whole another animal on the kit.
