Love Jimmy Blue, end of first bracket, 2:30 in. Wonderful Colin Craig composition.

Love Mr L’s fun but highly polished approach to his piping. He’s having a great run in his piping career right now.

I studied under Alasdair at a Balmoral School of Piping at Thomas Moore College in 2003 if I recall correctly. He was excellent and even saved me from a lashing from J. Reid Maxwell, which is another story entirely. Alasdair will always remain one of my greatest instructors, regardless of discipline for reaching someone regardless of HIS skill level. So many instructors are cursed with the "Knowledge" in my experience, civilian, military, or academic levels. Alsadair was one who could always reach anyone, regardless of ability. O' My Darlin Flo I love you so Especially in the morning! ...Here in Wadi Akarit! Thanks Stuart. You are gem and I'm sure Alasdair would have been one of your fiercest competitors.

Alasdair's father Norman was a fantastic teacher. He had a huge repertoire and was endlessly creative.
