Not a big fan of Shadow's, they have 20% increased damage bonus but they take 20% more damage too so it's actually not that super good, it's very situational. (new meta with shadow raids focus makes em bad) For new players if you *don't* have a 100% shadow it's better to purify instead as it's cheaper candy and stardust wise so you don't break your economy all the time. Purified pokemon loose the bonus but doesn't take 20% more damage. But they are also cheaper to level up. I got 170 that are 100% now, I only use 10 of em roughly for raiding. Rhyperior is very underrated as he wrecks almost all Team Rockets and Giovanni, shadow raids and he is almost always picked at 5 star raids. Big mistake for new players is investing into Slaking or Chansey, wobbuffet, gengar, Groudon,Garchomp or Kyogre, it's really not worth it. Aim to get lucky legendary pokemon, like Reshiram is best lucky legend you can get imho. Aim for few type coverages for I.e, Fire typed focused Salamence is really useful with Mega. Rhyperior with Superpower+Rock Wrecker is godly Dialga with Steel and Dragon is such a great coverage for fairy and dragon types. Tyranitar best dark type but Fire Blast is better then Crunch if you got Bite. Played since Launch and my best cp is 4886, 4335, 4286, 4272 and 4252 and still got a few candy XL to use on em.

Since you're playing against the clock, dps is what's most important. So yes shadows are way better almost all of the time. Maybe with some pokemon that are already extremely glassy it's not worth using the shadows, but for everything else the shadows are superior. The only situation where it makes any sense to purify is when you want if for the mega evolution. Obviously you don't need to have shadows (unless your trying to do raids with as few people as possible) and they may not be worth how expensive they are for new or casual players, but they are objectively significantly better for raids.

@@DokkanG0Dproper advice for you! don’t go for 6 same pokémon with your teams. it’s more fun for you and also way less expensive to build. also lvl 35 pokémon lvl is enough for all (!) raids. people forget that there are revives… you only need higher lvls and let’s say 6 shadow mewtwo with attack 15 when you do raids with very small amount of people (like 2-4). or 3 star raids solo. don’t get sucked up with every pokémon in your teams need to have 15 iv

The problem with shadow legendary pokemon is the fact that they don't launch in raids so finding one with a decent spread is almost impossible not to mention coming in off event sucks since your not going to be able to use it for potentially two months since the stardust costs for new move might be a problem.

I usually only play for 2-3 hours a day and I consistently get over 50,000 stardust a day. The problem I face is getting the rare candies to power them up even while doing my free raids and all 25 battles a day

Dragonite its my fav go to for battling. Raids it depends what im uo against. I have shiny shadow Mewtwo, two palkias one with spacial rend. Dialgas etc. I prefer faster attack ones. .

With a meteorite piece yea, it doesn't mega evolve him, it teaches him the move like an elite tm and he can't mega without the move.

Live in wrong country and city for pokemon Norway-Telemark-Porsgrunn, 26 pokemon stop to spin if i walk 1 mile and if you lucky 1 new pokemon you maby see in 1 month only way to Get new is evolve or Get it from eggs, no noe play raid here and highest pokemon I have is 2800 cp vant fight alone bit happy hunt and love your videos

I just got back into the game since end of 2018 when I quit, my god theres so much more. Also how the hell does he have THOUSANDS of candy for each pokemon? and theyre not basic ones, the legendary beasts and shit I've never seen...any tips on how to come across these? he just beat the same raid 1000 times? I had 2 shadow Groudon but I think at the price of a shadow Kyogre, which is sad since he’s my favorite, but now I have a purified, a shadow, a shiny and a regular Groudon. Yay

hey. i’ve traded with a couple of people, so i feel confident answering your question. as long as you’re doing everything thru pokemon go, your account cannot be hacked. you’re in control of everything, and you even get to see the pokemon the other person is trading before you confirm the trade. just make sure the person is trustworthy and please make sure to be safe at all times. not an ignorant question, and i hope i helped.
