Thanks for this walk around! I am in the beginning stages of a 5 window g3500 short bus build and looking for ideas, I am converting it to four wheel drive. I'm coming from the overland scene and plan to build the bus out in that style with three kids I probably should have gone with a larger bus but I'll see.

I like your set up. The bed lift is a nice way to have more usable space. I haven't thought they could be converted to 4x4. Great idea to get you in or out of sites. Lots of good ideas here. Have fun out there.

The best part of this Ambulance is its a Chevy.I hear Ford ppl dissing Chevy folks all the time and all Chevys I have ever had do over 300,000 miles while still running strong.Besides I never really had a problem with Ford they are okay too .But they do say Ford backwards is "Driver returns on foot"😅

Awe I love the ambo but I get the why. Fuel costs alone are enough. Will be sad to see it go though. Very sad. Wish I could afford it myself.

I'm going to miss this ambulance. I have been looking into to ambo build, however, being 6'5 has made that not a possibility. I need to be able to stand up. I like small spaces, but I also want to cook, and I need to be able to stand up. This led me to look into a sprinter or a custom earthroamer build. I know some van builds come with a roof extender, however, I don't want something like that, I would rather have it a part of the frame. Also what I love about the Ambo vs the Sprinter, it takes advantage of all wall interior space when comes to storage options, inside and out. Which is what lead me to a customer earthroamer build. I would love to buy one, but not currently rolling in millions.

Yeah being 6’5 is great in many aspects of life except the vanlife haha. Earth Roamers are wayyy to expensive

@@BrandonGross yeah I was thinking more of taking Andrew Muse approach. He made a affordable one for about 60k. If I do most of the work myself, pull in family expertise when I need it, like having my mother weld the frame. I definitely will need a beefy power system, since I design and game frequently.
