Bulking is a popular diet strategy in the fitness industry where you eat more calories than you burn in a day for several months. This helps you put on size with the goal of gaining the most amount of muscle and least amount of fat. After trying it out for 30 days I thought it would be a great idea to try it for 90 days but this time precisely measure my weight and body fat with a DEXA scan. It's honestly surprising to me that he gained almost 2% body fat but it doesn't look like it at all and that he just gained muscle mass

@@Mysticfateee well that’s the thing about it he’s going to massively gain muscle, I am surprised he only gained 2%, he looks much bigger though strength wise but you can barely notice the additional fat, only slightly in the abs but that could just be lighting

It was quickly mentioned in the video but when speaking with the person who did the DEXA he said some of it was visceral fat which is fat beneath the abdomen and isn’t visible on the body.

Hey Brandon! I would like to comment on your chiropractic sessions. I’d probably love these ones too if I did them, but I heard it is hard on your ligaments. By hard I mean they stretch more than they are intended to be (~5%), so their laxity is increased to an amount (if done regularly), which leads to a decrease in passive stability. Nonetheless an awesome video and continue smashing!

This is very inspiring and informative. I have a very irrational fear of gaining body fat. Specially after hitting and maintaining my current physique. But I’m in the process of gaining and eating in a surplus (but as clean as possible) to achieve my dream body and this brings things into perspective. Thank you for this!

I virtually freaked out when you shared your recipe for "protein oats" because it's so similar to my own recipe which I made up myself! Mine is: Fine Oats, wheat germ, cinnamon, banana, blueberries, strawberries when in season, almond butter, dates and ground flax. I used to really dislike Oats and now I love it! Never get tired of this

Wow, I made nearly identical progress, I've been bulking for 92 days and I put up 2.5 kilos (5.5 lbs) I felt I wasn't gaining anything seeing some of the progress on another youtube which really threw me into body dysmorphia but I saw this video and I feel really good about myself. You’d think that brandon would have gotten hurt by ripping a muscle or something like that, but instead he’s hurts himself by dropping the weights on his foot or by learning a backflip Your amazing And a little suggestion is….try hockey. It’s very fast and needs a lot of cardio and strength!
