@@raxleigh3981yeah when I did mine they topped out at 100mph. My groups instructor told us we didn't need to use 6th gear, but after buzzing the limiter for most of lap 1, a few of us clearly chose to use 6th lol.

Yes they will have the halo this year as well as the GB3 cars. This was from 2019 when I was in British F4.

You know why they introduced the halo? Because the current F1 cars are trucks. Even nico rosberg said that the new cars are so heavy and so unpredictable that the moment a driver loses control, only luck can save him. You want safer cars? The fia should make them lighter and smaller. Halo is just an alternative. It wasn't needed for 20 years because F1 cars were proper f1 cars not trucks. A light car doesnt need it

Probabily he was coming from a fast lap, when you do a fast lap you stay all inside to do less distance and you gain some time.

The front “straight” is a bit banked so it is more natural and a bit faster to run the inside.
