Luke!!! Thanks for this rundown…I really like the condensed version with such a huge drop. My one house went to lighter volume so the Anger looks interesting (but the nostalgia with the Ricochet…). B7 is making me want to go get a second job (or a bowling sugar mama).

Haven't checked in a while because I am still throwing SPI equipment. I stopped and checked this one out trying to fill a spot in my bag that has long been empty. Interested in some of these pieces from Brunswick. The one observation I have is that luke you are definitely throwing the ball with a lot more confidence than I saw in your final SPI videos. Keep it up!!!!!!!

Yeah, it's nice to have confidence in ball reaction now. Last couple years I struggled because nothing felt like it saw the lane right, my average dropped almost down to 210, then when the Summit came out I thought things were turning the corner because it was amazing, put up all kinds of big numbers with it, but it was kind of the lone success story outside of some isolated random sets here and there. The B7 stuff had been looking good, but I didn't understand the significance of the difference until I started throwing them and it was a rather large adjustment to get used to balls that saw the lane in the oil and then finished strongly down lane without any help or babying. Little by little the SPI arsenal has dwindled because I just can't trust them. The Summit is still my safety blanket, I've drilled 3 of those now, but the Brunswick covers are just quite a bit better right now.

Scorpion Strike is like a combo of IQTP & Marvel Pearl with some kick down lane to me. Just a reaction I haven't had in recent years and I love it. Ivory Rhino and Mantra are both also looking amazing on our house shot

enjoyed this type of review. looking forwards to the ebonite real time the more reviews I've watched the more I'm leaning towards one. being a lefty been looking at solids and it reminds me of the old ebonite navy stinger that was a polished solid as well with similar specs just different cores and cover material. but it was a ball that gave me length with a good predictable back end motion

I’m a lefty and prefer solids. I prefer bowling down the left baseline keeping my feet between the 9-18 boards. I love my hazmat solid. I also have ion max which seems a little too strong for me right now. Would an effect tour, envy tour, envy pearl tour compliment my bowling style as a stroker for league play? My speed can range from 14-17 and my my revs is on the lower range. Thanks for any input.

I think the Effect Tour would fit in perfectly, I never did get along with the Envy Tour because it was just too strong/early, so if the Ion Max is too strong, the Envy will be too. The Effect Tour should be sideways of the hazmat solid and be a rounder more continuous shape.

Hey Luke- Our league just changed to a new house due to the hurricanes. They oil the heads quite heavily, and I'm having a tough time getting the ball to finish downlane the first 2 games. Going to a B7 demo day tomorrow- which balls would you recommend that I can try that will come back strong from the breakpoint?

Depends on what all they have, but if you're on heavier oil, a sharper backend ball is just going to be more inconsistent. I'd try a Mesmerize if it's there, wicked collision, crusher, heckler, etc

It's weird because I was told the Effect tour is a stronger Envy tour but I don't see it. And it's even weirder because it feels like it falls between then GB5 and EnvyT. Just an odd release imo. EnvyT is still insane and they called it a compliment so I don't think it's leaving. Looking forward to your thoughts on that one and see how I feel after a few weeks about it. Anger seems really really good so far for the wife though. And this is I think a good way to get people interested. Hey we have the stuff, reviews soon.

Yeah they said it was a stronger envy in their brand video for it but that doesn't fit their own rankings of the ball they have on the website or any of the information, let alone actual ball reaction.

I know you're the tech guy, always give great information and have maybe the best reviews on the web, but I think you overdid it a bit with the "preview" part of it. All you needed was the barest tidbits, and a "stay tuned for the full review". I still enjoyed the video and am absurdly looking forward to the Anger and Real Time reviews.
