I love this album so much , like you said if you understand music theory it resonates so much better. The choice of vocal layering and the production and transitions or wonderful. This and renaissance by beyonce are a masterclass on how to arrange and produce an album .

Its INSANE. The way you said the backgrounds were the star on a lot of the tracks, but then the way she RUNS and AD LIBS non stop. And they are SMART. They are perfect, they tell the story. And theeeeeeeeeen, theeeennnn... you have the leads, which also carry. The fact that all of this is going on in tandem with thise busy, beautiful, unique production. Without clashing. WHAT THE FUCK.
