It also very much helps that this boss theme is actually in the same style as other boss themes from the GameBoy/NES Kirby's Dreamland games, so there's an actual precedent for how most of these notes are supposed to sound like in 8-bit.

My idea 💡 for a Kirby game played in full 3D is that completing the game gives you a hard mode. The bosses are replaced with stronger versions of themselves. 1: Whispy Woods is replaced with Yggy or Flowery Woods, or King 👑 Golem. 2: King 👑 DeDeDe is replaced with Masked DeDeDe 3: Ice Dragon 🐉 is replaced by Robot Ice Dragon 🐉 4: Meta Knight is replaced by Mecha Knight or Dark Meta Knight 5: Moley is replaced by Mrs Moley 6: Acro is replaced by Gobbler 7: Kracko is replaced by Mecha/Polluted Kracko 8: The final boss is recoloured, and their final form has the "Soul" suffix. Or, it goes from "X" to "X's Revenge"
