@BiblioEngineer this means so much you have no idea. ive been singing since i was a kid, and i struggled a lot with my voice and had tons of coaches helping me find my voice at some point i found it, i managed to find the so-called 'golden voice' (that's in-between the nasal and chest voice) and i felt so happy, but i also felt like it wasn't a great deal because i gave up on my dream to become a performer/singer due to my anxiety so, genuinely, your kind words mean the world to me and so much more🥹💖

haloo, am the artist here for that omori my time animatic hehe - just wanna put it out that i havent done the Natlan world quests but when i animated this nearly three months ago, i HAD to put the Durin foreshadowing from a theory derived from the 4.8 simulanka event since the animation’s basically a compilation of everything the traveller went through already. So i sense a major turning point in the Natlan patches especially regarding Celestia being “asleep”. might cook up another animatic based on the lore again owo

People who are just in it for the money would not be able to write a masterpiece of subtle storytelling and symbolism of this magnitude. At some point the greed and laziness would shine through (Genshin is by no means perfect, but art is subjective). Not to mention, the amazing character designs. As an amateur writer and artist myself, I have learned so much from Genshin.

They took 4 fucking years to do anything significant to improve the game. Remember that? What about the shitty anniversary rewards? To the point that the fandom tried to boycott the game? Where is the promised Genshin anime? They've been slacking for 4 fucking years and finally they started to write some good stories, implement some QoL changes and raised the resin cap. But tbh they were supposed to implement these changes at least 3 YEARS AGO. They never cared about the game by the amount that you think. They only care about the money it makes for them.

On one hand, the Genshin community can sometimes be a really fun place where people share things they love and create, and where people readily help each other out and socialize. On the other hand it can also be the most toxic cesspit in gaming, putting even League to shame. I don't know how the devs still have this much passion for the game with how this community has treated them over the years.

It was because of the dedication and passion of the devs that I broke my free to play vow and spent money on genshin. I know what goes into game development because I got a degree in it. Criticism is valid, but like it was said, people are horrible and sometimes are wrong. A lot of work goes into a game. A game project almost always starts with a dream. That dream grows until it comes to fruition. Sometimes, the game won't function like you want it to, and you just keep trying to get it as close as possible to your dream. Developers sometimes forget the reason they start the project to begin with. They just want a game that people enjoy, but not everyone will ever be happy. That can be the hardest thing to accept.

I would never wish bad things upon anyone. People who were delighting in someone getting robbed need to go touch grass. I've been dissatisfied with Genshin for quite a while before the Natlan livestream. It's nice to see them make a change for the better. I'm hopeful they can keep up the momentum and make me genuinely care about the game again. We'll have to see where things go from here but I'm tentatively optimistic at the moment.

DUDE! I could actually feel his emotions through the 5.0 update. Hoyo really knocked it out of the park with Natlan IMO. I could only think of 1 or 2 minor issues with the whole update, but the rest for ME was awesome! They needed this win for sure, and they earned it!

About "gift" I think some us just just being too greedy, genshin has so much project goin on to be paid for, the fair, orchestral contracts, team design (in case tney have to go aboard to learn the regional culture referece) and many more. And giving 1600 primos that cost more than 1 month welkin for millions of players for every celebration would only harm the company's financial. Just be gratefull and touch grass so you wont have the time to comparing 2 different games in every breathe
