I live about four hours from Branson. I absolutely love it there, such a change from scenery. I had just enough to pay for a hotel a couple nights and I really thought about picking the family up and just hanging out at the lake for the weekend. I think we all just need a reboot. I didn't even know about that little coaster thing.

There have been incidents where people have attempted to hurt themselves while on a Ferris Wheel. Now, all Ferris Wheel Manufacturers require 2 or more riders per gondola to ride. Most if not all operators follow Manufacturers guidelines.

We LOVE Branson, we go there multiple times a year........gonna give it a few more weeks and see how the "situation" goes. We live about 4 hours away and have season tickets to Silver Dollar City so we need to use them soon !!!!

there was a news article from the chicago Tribune about The Ferris wheel that replace this one in Chicago that stated 'an unidentified woman plunged to her death from the Ferris wheel at Navy Pier on Thursday afternoon. It was unclear whether the woman fell or jumped from the gondola car, said police spokesman Sgt. Robert Cargie.' I don't think the reason that they want to say they don't want anybody alone is because of suicide

Jacob the best one in Branson is the Runaway. It's just off the strip. You never use the brake.

In New Jersey it's mandatory to have a second ride on a ferris wheel. Some years back a girl fell to her death on a school trip to Wildwood. She was on it alone. So it's to try and keep it somewhat balanced.

❤️ your videos. Watching them is the closest experience I’ll ever have being able to live something I’ve dreamed of doing since I was a little kid. When I was a young child my dream was to travel to attractions all over the United States. I still have my report I got an A on from when I was in 2nd grade about wanting to do that and still have it. I even have old notebooks from grade school, middle school, high school and even as a young adult of all the places I wanted to go, prices, and everything. I just turned 40 in April and unfortunately have never been able to make my dream come true, and never will. Thankyou for posting these videos cuz like I said it’s the closet thing I’ll ever have to experience something I’ve always dreamed of doing. To be able to do this must be such a adventure! You are so lucky and blessed to be able to that!

After all the times Jacob has been told not to ride Ferris Wheels by himself, I thought I'd do some research. I found this article about the Santa Monica Pier Ferris wheel not allowing single riders. Apparently the manufacturer issued a safety bulletin saying not to allow single riders after a 6 year old fell off when riding by himself. Cal/OSHA sent out a bulletin that ordered all operators to only allow two riders or more. In response, ride manufacturers released Service Bulletins recommending the practice. It came into existence in 2007 when a 6-year-old riding alone fell to his death. Since ride operators cannot judge the mental capabilities or emotional state of its riders, it is now always recommended that no one rides alone.

I'd like to try the roller coaster ride. That looks like fun going speeding through the woods. I like that you can control your own car unlike the ones that are all together. They should make them like a race track so you can compete against someone. I think they don't allow single riders on Ferris wheels because their afraid of being sued if someone gets hurt. Their not protecting you their protecting themselves.
