Pretty much the same system as in my BMW G30 but with a bit less stuff to adjust. In the BMW I can adjust the exact temperature at which I want steering wheel heater, seat heater or seat ventilation to come on and I can also adjust at which intensity they should come on. Of course you can program individual starting temperatures and heating/ventilation intensity to every seat. So for example the drivers seat could switch on heating at level 3 below 15°C, while the right rear seat might already start below 18°C but only at level 2.

Hope you can answer/explain. I have a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited. Few things are just insane. The outdoor temperature is just below freezing. Every time I start the vehicle I have to shut off the fresh air intake unless I have the heat on. I don’t necessarily want the heat on…but I definitely don’t want cold air blowing at me. Next if I’m driving in snow and stop for a couple of minutes…gas or convenience store or just drop something off somewhere. I have to retell it I’m driving in snow. If I use the preset for different drivers…the seats update to the position but the mirrors don’t. I use two different devices - one for phone the other for podcasts. It can’t remember this setting, but it can remember I have both devices, again I can manually select it but if I’m only stopping for a few minutes why isn’t there a way to save my settings for recirculate air, device management, seats and mirrors, or screen layout, or what type of driving conditions I’m in? Just asking. I love the Tucson Limited hybrid but why the nuttiness in having to go thru half dozen settings every time I shut it off and turn it back on. One last thing…some places I go have security systems that prevent me from locking or unlocking the doors. I have found most times I run into this situation I hold the remote on top of the SUV and press the lock button. Yes it is not possible to lock the doors from the outside without the remote or the key to manually lock it.
@BrantfordKia3 жыл бұрын
I think the shorter answer is to check your climate control section in your owner's manual about some of your climate issues. Some of it may just be that your car is set to auto recirculate, or autodehumidify. When it comes to the snow mode not staying on, the car will not restart in Sport mode, and it's possible that it won't restart in Snow mode either, for the most part, you probably only want to use the snow mode in the snow, in dry pavement, you may be better served by having a regular drive mode. I'm not sure why they don't let you leave it in snow mode, but it's the same with Sport mode.

Yep, I turned those on in my Santa Cruz and love it. Especially as we get into the cooler mornings, having the heated wheel come on right away is great. Lovin' my Cruz - haven't tried the push and hold on the seats though. I figure two taps is probably faster than holding though ... might have to try it tomorrow. Headed to my dealer to get the trailer hitch and stuff installed. :)
@BrantfordKia3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the multiple taps vs. the hold down option may not be quicker, but I find myself having to focus on how many taps I need to hit. Keep in mind, we may turn it on at level 3 but after 30 minutes it may only be on level 2. I've gotten used to just holding it because it takes less attention. To each their own, I'm just shocked that I didn't know about this feature earlier! That's something that I should have known years ago!

We traded because of amazing vehicle, deal and there was no ‘Market Adjustment’ like other dealers are doing. They had 3 of the GV70s in stock including ours and sold all in 4 days. The Palisade had white or crème whatever they call it Nappa leather and was one of those that had the smell and they had treated it 3 times and on day we were there before we even thought about trading they ordered new headrest. @BrantfordKia3 жыл бұрын
I believe that wherever you leave the temperature set when you turn off the vehicle, that will be the temperature it goes to when you turn the vehicle on. If it's automatic temperature control, don't set it to high, that will blow all the air out of the system. If you have it set to an actual temperature, it will build heat and start to blow it through the system when it's ready to go. That's the most efficient way.

Some do. I don't think you can set up the Sorento to turn on the heated steering wheel and heated seats with the ignition switch.

My 2016 Lexus RX350 has this. Its nothing new. It has a auto setting to the seat heat\ventilation which turns up or down based on what the auto climate requires. Each seat has 7 settings, hi mid low heat and high mid low cool and then auto. I keep mine in auto so it always knows when to add heat or cooling. Once the interior reaches the set temperature, it turns them off.
@BrantfordKia3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think people seem to think that I'm claiming this is new. It's just my job to show what features are available, and how they work. I'll also argue that anything more than 3 settings on a seat heater are more than necessary. If I stuck a random person in a seat heater with more than 3 settings, they would have an extremely difficult time telling anyone, with any certainty, what setting the seat heater is on.

Does the first tip with with remote start?
@BrantfordKia3 жыл бұрын
If you're asking if you can turn the heated steering wheel and heated seat on with the remote start, it will depend on the car, but in many cases, yes.
@mjsabie85173 жыл бұрын
@@BrantfordKia It appears that I cannot. I have a 2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. I cannot find the option to get this to turn on automatically when the car starts. I can do the steering wheel through the blue link app but not the seats.

How do i check the battery voltage on 2022 carnival?

I don't think the vehicle has a display for that, so you would likely have to check with a volt meter.

Hey, I didn't design it, my job is just to show how it works. A lot of people (myself included) didn't know that it works like this. Now you have options to do it whichever way you want.

@@shizzydeep6867 When you ask, "What's the point of having it?" It seems like you need me to explain why it's set up like this. I tell you what it does, it's up to you to decide if it works for you, and it's up to the designers to explain why they designed it to do this.
