My best friend/love of my life broke up with me back in 2018. I was heart broken. We were together for 2 years. Heartache, stress and depression happened and I got very sick. Half a year passes by and I get a message from his mom saying we need to reach out to each other. Even though he hurt me I still reach out. We met up and all the memories, love and feelings came back. We got back together. His mother ended up committing suicide later in December that same year. I gave birth to our beautiful baby girl in January of 2020. I can never thank his mother enough for if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be with the love of my life today with our beautiful 1yr old. To get to where your music is involved, my boyfriend and I have gone through a lot of rough patches together. Your music has helped us through it all. Every time I listen to one of your songs i get flashbacks of wonderful memories and times I spent with my love. Its such a beautiful feeling.. My oldest daughter was incarcerated for 10 months this song always makes me think of her god I didn’t think I was going to live to see her come home she is my baby it’s been 5 years and she is doing amazing I love that girl with all my heart her own brother my son was putting her down and he had his problems with meth but he thinks his s**t don’t stink and I really think he still dapples in to this day but my melissa is 💯 free thank you Brantley you helped me and her kids my grandkids express how we felt about her and still do ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
