I have the absolute pleasure to show you an instrument made for me by my friend Sebastian at Luna Handpans ‪@luna-handpan‬
This beauty is Non steel, brass alloy handpan, in a very Low A Artemis tuning,
Think of this as akin to the Aeolean or Celtic, (depending on which notes you avoid.)

Excellent choice, Ricky, looking forward to see what you will do with it! Brass is my beloved metal, that is a main reason my I enjoy the ortus ultra bass by Guda as much as much as my ravpan, this metal is warm as far as the sound goes and.. Has something different.

Agreed completely. Warm, woody and non metallic sounding! Very different than others I have tried. Currently then pan I have been playing the most.

Simply amazing you get to experience a wide array of makers and their creations. I absolutely love the sound of this. So unique, question though hoe delicate is this i got to imagine being a brass alloy that its very susceptible to accidental dings.... not a center ding 😂

Seems pretty solid, according to Sebastian, as this is work hardened, the tone fields are potentially MORE stable than a typical field. This is a result of work hardening. Handpans are generally worked and relieved of stress by baking, whereas this brass alloy depends on creating stability of notes via direct energy transfer. Time will tell! @@ReWildYourSoul true but it will transfer to your hands while playing. You could ask the maker what grade of brass they used to determine if it's a health hazard

Hey there, I am the maker of this one. While it is true that some brass-alloys contain lead, this one is 100% lead-free.
