Braulio is one of the most humble fighter who I met, very respectful to young and old and from white to black belts. The seminars where I were was logical and very efficient. Braulio is a real world champion on and of the mat.

usually the people that talk about not having an EGO are they people with the biggest EGO. Eveyone has an ego . The least you can do is realize that you have one. Those that tell others not to have an ago and don't even realize that they have the biggest one in the room are the worst offenders.

Yes it is mandatory in most Gracie Barra academies (definitely the HQ in Barra) to wear a rashguard under the gi.

It's hard to believe Nick Diaz shoved this dude when he tried to shake his hand. Every interview I've ever seen with Braulio, he's been a pure class act, with an awesome attitude. I'd LOVE to train under him.

It's not hard to believe at all. Nick Diaz is an asshole. And both Diaz brothers get way too much press for having mediocre MMA records. Only Joe Rogan pod cast listening fan boys rate the Diaz brothers as MMA fighters.

I have met Braulio about three times over the years. He was a perfect gent each and every time. I even met him after he lost to Galvao at adcc 2013 in Beijing. Even then he was really cool with everyone even though it was obvious that he was devastated. Everybody was cool, I think if you interrupt them whilst they are preparing to fight that day then you will probably get on their anxious nerves.

Thanks BJJ Hacks for another great video ! Is wearing the rashguard under the gi mandatory at Gracie Barra Tijuca ? If it it, I think it's recent because I've seen a lot of footage without it over there. Since it's banned in competition, it should be banned in training too !

Thanks replying ! I noticed that because on some of your previous Gracie Barra footage, nobody was wearing one. That's just my 2 cents, but training should recreate competitions conditions, so I don't like when people train with rashguards under their gis, if everybody wash their ass/gis/equipment before and after each session, it shoumd be no hygiene concern. Thank you again for all the great videos, when is the Red Belt documentary comin' out ?
