Braun Hair Clipper HC 5090 HC5050 battery replacement

Weexplain how to replace the battery in a brun Hair Clipper. In this case the is of the HC 5090 HC 5050, but the procedure is similar with other models/series.
As tools we will need a Torx screwdriver and a soldering iron.
Make sure to check out the hint on the video of how to accomplish this without damaging the plastic housing.
Solder the replacement battery into position and reassemble everything in reverse order.

Be aware of soldiering, I just killed the board with it, I don’t know how, but the trimmer is now absolut and I threw it away, no more braun timmer ever, I will just buy a trimmer with easy replaceable battery.

I also killed the board while soldering. The frustration is huge right now. I no longer buy a Braun shaver either

@@JanReinhold44 Yeah I know right!, they just built it in a way, to make replacement of the battery so difficult, the amount of soldering they used originally is enough to connect so much bigger connector. Not buying any Braun trimmer anymore!

I have the same shit. I let a electronics guy do the soldiering. He did it fine from the look of it and it is charging successfully but after that it just dies in 5 minutes like it used to with older batteries. New ones are brand new Duracell 750mah rechargable ones same volt and shit

For fucks sake they could have easily made it replaceable via a front opening.
